Final Fantasy XI players fight enemy 18 hours, still die

what i wonder is if any of them have a girlfriend/boyfriend. if they do, that person is doing a horrible job. 18 hrs!!!!

It's either during the weekend, or they have no job/life/whatever. I know that if I were there and we couldn't kill it after 2 hours, I'm outta there.

Ha, no TRUE gamer would download pornos because they know there's no time to spank the monkey, you heathen!

You're crazy, whacking it is a gamer's #2 hobby. How else do you develop the forearm strength to play button mashers like Street Fighter SFX90? :o

Gamers don't download porno because it would take up too much memory and lag up their connections.

I've only played FFX and the longest I've played straight was like five or six hours. I couldn't get passed when Seymeour turns himself into an aeon in FFX. I hate the sidequests in RPG's so I always try to avoid them so nobody in my party is high enough to beat him. And I don't feel like leveling them up. :( It pissed me off so bad I just watched the rest of the cutscenes on youtube. :o

I cried when Tidus and Yuna said goodbye to each other. :(

Me and my cousin like spent a whole weekend together so we could beat Kingdom Hearts when it first came out too. :o

Man, I spent at least 45 minutes trying to take down one of the final bosses in Kingdom Hearts, (a giant gargoyle or something?) I've tried at least 4 times, for 45 minutes each all ending with fail, so I sold the game. Later on in the month I rebought it cause I just wanted to kill him so bad, but I still failed, sold the game again.

Quitter. :csad:

People are actually still playing Final Fantasy XI? That was the worst game in the series, by far. They need to stick to single-player games. And Final Fantasy is notorious for having seemingly immortal bosses, but they can always be defeated. Knowing that development team there's probably some secret item you're supposed to find that kills it instantly.

There was no way I could beat him, Kingdom Hearts was my favourite game back then and I wanted to beat it so bad but I just couldn't. Goofy and Donald always died, I revived them, than they'd run into his flames and die again. I always ran out of potions and revives.

Did you try looking up a walkthrough?

Wouldn't that make you feel pretty lame?...to know that millions of people all over the world, all so different...in age, gender, body type...race, religion,.....they all beat the boss, and you couldn't?

:(

I beat the game in Japanese. :o Do you know how difficult fights are if you can't read the attacks your choosing? Took a lot of memorizing.

Still didn't get to play it in english. But I'm planning to some day.

Worst part of Kingdom hearts 1, you can't skip cutscenes. Hours of frustration ensued.

After about 20 minutes I would have said screw it.
18 hours is waaaaaaaaaay too long for any single NPC character.

This drove me nuts in the first Golden Sun. I was having a lot of trouble beating the big boss battle in the middle in the water lighthouse, and every time I made an attempt I had about 10 minutes of dialogue to sit through.
