Thinking about the timeline of these movies it seems that IM and IM2 take place before Incredible Hulk and probably Thor and what will probably be the last scene in Captain America. With all these movies linked to eachother now, can anyone guess what will be the final scene of Iron Man 2 linking it to one of the other movies. A Thor/Donald Blake apperance or hint?, a Captain America frozen in Ice scene?, Edward Nortan scene (high hopes).I was thinking that they may show that final scene in Incredible Hulk again where Tony Stark and Ross are talking in the bar, but this time it is extended, were there talking more and Stark mentions more about he and Fury are forming the Avengers and he thinks that Bruce Banner/Hulk could be a great help to the team and Ross begs to differ. Or that that the team there forming can stop the Hulk,(hopefully Hulk isn't the villain in the Avengers movie). Or the scene they may talk more about the Captain America project and Stark is planning on bringing him back after hearing about the mishap with the serum that Ross did leading to Abomination.

Does anyone else have some ideas or thoughts of what may happend at the end of the move?

There is no Donald Blake in the Thor film.

Why would Stark "plan" to bring back Captain America? There's no reason to believe Tony knows where Cap's body is, let alone whether or not he can be resuscitated after 50 years.

Well Cap's sheild was in IM1 on the work table, never know?

I want to see an extension of the IM1 after credits scene where after Fury says he wants to tell Stark about the Initiative:

FURY: We've already gather some individuals with extraordinary talents in their own right.

STARK: Such as?

FURY: Well there....

(Stark walks further into the room when he steps and hears a small crunch.)

FURY: ....was Ant Man.

STARK: Aw sh--.

----END SCENE----

Someone posted this idea in another thread, I thought it was damn fine-
This may be a tad bit long, I dunno.

Night time. Tony sits in a chopper with Agent Coulson of SHIELD.

Tony: "So when are you gonna tell me what this is all about?"

Coulson: "You wanted to see Vanko didn't you? Well, we're going to see him."

The chopper lands at a secluded base in the middle of nowhere. The base is heavily guarded.

Tony gets led inside and they start walking down a corridor of what looks like empty high tech cells. The wall facing the corridor is made out of a transparent, glass like, material, giving perfect insight into the cells.

Agent Coulson: "Welcome to the Vault."

Tony stops and leans with his back against a cell he hasn't looked at yet.

Tony: "And this place can hold him? I mean, glass walls?"

Tony knocks with his one hand on the wall behind him to emphasize the point.

Suddenly the wall is struck from the inside. It makes a mighty impressive sound. Like a freakin' asteroid hit it.
Tony jumps away from the wall in surprise. On the other side stands Abomination. He growls, then strikes at the wall again, giving it everything he's got. The wall doesn't budge.

Agent Coulson: "It's not glass. And yeah... I think it should hold him."

That sounds cool, but it wouldn't really work because IM2 is set before TIH, so Blonsky has not become Abomination by the end of IM2 yet.

Ah yeah, that was posted before the timeline was revealed. Still would've been real cool.

Yeah, it would've been cool. The recent interview with Branagh had a tidbit in there from Kevin Fiege indicating that IM2 is going to connect to Cap quite a bit, so I have a feeling that the final scene is going to be Cap-centric.

After coming home to give Pepper to bouquet of flowers, Tony finds her in bed with another man. Well, not actually another man, but Tony Stark from ten minutes ago. Present Tony isn't angry, after realizing that past Tony is one sexy beast. Present Tony joins past Tony and Pepper for a three way, roll credits.

I posted this over in the Evans Cameo thread...

Bro keeps telling me he'd love to see a scene after the credits of Stark running through a hospital shouting 'Where is he?' ending his run at a bedside with either someone covered in bandages in the bed or a shot of Stark's face as he says 'Steve/Cap!'

don't know who and don't know if but someone maybe s'gonna say:
looks like a storm is coming

I think it will be related more to Thor since it's the next Marvel film to come out and leave the audience with a nice tease.

I'm against a Thor cameo myself. Thor needs to be on its own, and only at the end of that film with insight on Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D.

Possibly Nick Fury along with another special agent(Hawkeye!) who help out Thor and that's how they get Thor into the initiative.

With Iron Man 2, I'd be fine with Captain America references, but no cameo. Only cameo I want is something that deals with the Hulk. It's been two years and we're not getting a sequel yet, so they need to get Hulk still fresh in our minds when Hulk shows up in "The Avengers".

Don't worry, even though he's as small as an ant Hank still retains his normal density. He can't be squished by a mere step any more then you or I.

True. Though they bring up Banner in Thor, it still will have been four years since we last saw anything Hulk related on screen once Avengers rolls around.

After watching IM1 this afternoon (again).......the point/fact being here is that Tony Stark has Captain America's shield in his possession in his laboratory. So this is obviously an indication that at the end of the 1st Avenger: Capt. America...he loses his shield or it is stolen, etc. So therefore, almost 60 years later, Stark Industries acquires the shield.

So there needs to be a bridge or tie-in here somehow... whether C.A. had two shields and one was destroyed, and the 2nd was an improved prototype which Tony Stark's father was working on (later to become Stark Industries) and never put into action....... or something to that effect.

But I can imagine that if/when a scene is written/filmed (hoping for one of those after credit scenes) in C.A. or IM2... I think it is important to identify and show Tony Stark handing over the shield to the resurrected Steve Rogers (since he was frozen and then hinted in the Incredible Hulk).

You think you or I couldn't be squished by a relatively huge mass pushing downwards on us?

Or Tony's shield could be a replica... :woot:

I'd love to see Evans as Cap in there....however, in more of a traditional Kirby looking costume.

Just thinking on the fly here.... what if the after credit scene is Stark and Fury looking over the Sonic blaster Hummer plans?
