Iron Man 2 Final Scene/Credits of Iron Man 2?

I'd love to see Evans as Cap in there....however, in more of a traditional Kirby looking costume.

I'd love to see a scene where General Ross warns Tony Stark: "We found something..."

Tony is taken by helicopter to a ship which is in front of a huge block of ice.

"My god. It's him..."

The end.

Maybe a Thor cameo or the camera pans up to reveal the icy tomb of Chris Evan's Captain America.

Nick Fury- We're going to need all the help we can get

*block of ice with Cap's shield over his chest*

I thought I read somewhere the link in IM2 was going to be Thor related

You think you or I couldn't be squished by a relatively huge mass pushing downwards on us?

Sure, but that's not what would be happening in that situation. Tony doesn't significantly weigh any more or less than Hank.

I guess my question would be is, has Jon Favreau hinted or implied in any fashion that there will be an extended scene at the end of IM2?
We can assume that there will be a couple cameo hints within the film leading towards CA, THOR, and/or The Avengers....... that much we can expect.

I just wonder if there will be any surprises at the end of the credits... I love these little surprises!

I think it'll be something like Stark watching TV and watching the mayhem of the Hulk/Abomination fight.

An After-Credits Scene in Iron Man 2?

April 14, 2010

This is not too big of a surprise considering Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk had similar scenes after the credits to set up future Marvel Studios movie, but what is interesting is who the clip may be about. BadTaste.it alerted us they got the news...

There is a very juicy news about Iron Man 2 on BadTaste today. A 100% trusted source (NOT from the production/distribution, but very familiar with the movie) confirmed us today that there will be an easter egg in IM2. It's an extra scene, just like the one in the first movie, after the end credits. We are able to tell you what's about! It's a scene about... Captain America and Thor!

So while it's not officially confirmed, we would suggest not leaving Iron Man 2 until after the credits.

EPIC WIN!!! :wow: :fhm: :awesome: :woot:

Honestly is this news????
Thats like say Iron Man is going to be in Iron Man 2

So no hulk in after credits scene... that means hulk will be IN the movie itself!

Yeah well I doubt either Cap or Thor will be in it seeing as Thor has only just begun filming and Cap was cast a few weeks ago.

This will most likely be a mention or perhaps an angle that doesnt fully show them.

actually Hank retrains his weight when shrunk down

actually Hank retrains his weight when shrunk down

To retain his weight he would need the same mass, that means the same amount of stuff, but in a smaller area. The human body has many processess necessary at a cellular level which require a low tissue density to physically work. If he became as dense as would be required to retain his weight (ie: his mass) then his body simply couldn't function. Whatever about comic book logic, films at least try to keep scientific impossibilities to a minimum. Eg: while shrinking could be explained through some hypothetical scientific process, it would, no matter what the process was, require a drop in mass.

THOR has been filming since early January, plenty of time to have shot something for a tag at the end of IRON MAN 2 - or at least a teaser trailer...

It's no less plausable than a guy increasing 200% without the mass coming from somewhere as the Hulk does. Hank does become more dense when he's shrunken down. And he retains his full strength so even if he's only a couple of inches tall he can still lift 200lbs or so. Now when he gets Giant-Man big his mass and strength increase rather than have him less dense. So the 2 are not the same. I think at full size, Hank can lift 25-50 tons or so, still far lower than Hulk, Thor or even Iron Man(in later armors like the M4 and on).

You're trying to apply actual, logical science to comic book stuff? Blasphemy!

:D

What I'd like to see after the credits of Iron Man 2...

At the end of Iron Man 2, Tony Stark has agreed to join Nick Fury's Avengers.

AFTER CREDITS

Fade in on a large room filled with monitor banks. Agent Coulson leads Tony Stark into the room, where Nick Fury stands in front of a large monitor.

FURY
Mr. Stark. There's something I want you to do for me.

STARK
Oh? What's that?

FURY
I believe you're familiar with a man named General Ross?

STARK
Thunderbolt Ross?

FURY
Yes. I want you to go and talk to him. I believe he has information on someone we feel would be an asset to our team.

Fury turns and presses a button on a remote control. The large monitor switches on to shaky, handheld footage of the Hulk fighting the Abomination.

STARK
Oh. That'll be fun.

COULSON
Think yourself lucky. You don't have to recruit this guy.

The image changes to unclear footage a tall, blonde man swinging around what appears to be a large hammer. Suddenly, electricity begins to crackle around him and the image dissolves into static.

STARK
Whoa. Who was that?

Fury turns to Stark with a grin.

FURY
His name is Thor.

CUT TO BLACK.

hahah That sort of thing could be funny. I seriously doubt that Cap or Thor will show up. Well maybe Thor but definitely not Cap.

You do know that movie was insinuating a link to the original "Just The Facts" right?

As for the extra scene, I think fans are getting their hopes too high. It has to be nothing more then Stark looking over Fury's shoulder at a couple of computer screens with images or blurbs about Cap and Thor.

We'll probably see Cap on ice and a mention of Thor, that's enough of a tease.

That'd do just fine for me!
