Yeah, the both of them could be kidnapers anyway....so you're pissed that Gambit attacked both of them?

You'll never be a member of Gambit's Royal Flush (*pouts*)Gambit did not attack Creed. He attacked Wolverine...freeing Creed so he could get away. He was coming from above...had a clear line of site...saw that a stranger was about to kill one of the men who kidnapped and potentially tortured him...and he chose to free the bad guy for no discernible reason.
As far as we know Gambit never saw creed before in his life.
As far as I remember, Gambit played cards with the guards (some random guys, I guess), not with the team of captors. I can't imagine Creed coming up with a cute nickname for Remy, such as "Gambit".Gambit's captors did play cards with him for some reason so I am sure he got to know a lot of the 'team'.
If Gambit wanted them both dead, he would have just done it himself. So, Gambit wants them both dead...so instead of letting Wolverine kill Creed and then killing Wolverine...Gambit chooses to unleash a non lethal blast on them both, allowing one to escape.
Smart move!
Unfortunately, that's true. But... I can live with it.The only thing I didn't like about Gambit was how his accent has an on and off switch.
I can't imagine why the guards were playing cards with a dangerous mutant that they had locked up that could escape by touching things. It was a dumb line.As far as I remember, Gambit played cards with the guards (some random guys, I guess), not with the team of captors. Well considering everyone in X1 tried to keep an accent then in X2 just said forget it...
Maybe so! But, without dialogue to explore that, it was just a dumb line because it makes you think why in the hell would they play cards with the guyGambit's hypnotic charm maybe?
I think he wanted to kick Wolverine's butt a little while, and then leave. As I said, if he wanted to kill someone, he has the power to do it; but that's not his style.I think Gambit was somewhat stupid because he got pushed aside by Wolverine and clearly had a chance to escape. He even ran far away on the rooftops and instead took the opportunity to run back and counterattack Logan while he was fighting Creed. Then halfway through the fight Gambit cut tail and tried to run away again. Except this time Gambit couldn't because now Wolverine had his sights set exclusively on him. Was he trying to escape Wolverine or was he trying to kill Wolverine for trying to take him?
