hell yeah its been tivo'ed don't worry. but i wanted to knwo if it was a good eps. :hyper:

It was good episode, interesting too. I hope the writers didn't mean that Jimmy that did it to Chloe isn't the Jimmy Olsens otherwise it's going to ba another blunder they did

The Clark/Alicia stuff was cool, but did anybody else get annoyed by the "...A Very Special" stuff with Chloe and Lana? Saying "I don't want to get all after school special on you" Doesn't mean that it's not after school special-ey!!!

I thought it was good that they took the opertunity to adress the teen sex issues that alot of kids struggle with. It's a freakin' epidemic. I'm 18, and I don't plan on having sex until after I'm married (not like there are girls throwing themselves at me ), but I know lots of kids who treat their virginity like it's some kind of facial welt: the sooner it's gone, the better off you'll be. I'm glad that they weren't afraid to take on such a sensetive subject. Something I've always admired about Smallville is that while other shows prefer to emphasize on deadbeat dads and whatnot, Smallville actually has alot of good family values.

Good family values....hmmm I doubt it....Leave It To Beaver has more than Smallville.....it is just entertainment. Family values should not come from tv or movies it should come from families talking about this stuff with thier kids....

It was a good episode. The bit at the very end about the teen sex epidemic (which is ironic considering it's on WB, the place where the shows all feature teens doin' it) was just groan inducing. But, it was still a great episode.

A strange thing happened, when I saw Welling sans shirt during the "sex" scene (I just KNEW that they weren't going to have him do it), I sundenly had the urge to work on weights. Gee, I wonder why. :|

And yes, the part with Chloe mentioning having sex with a guy named "Jimmy" made me laugh. :D

WHAT THE HELL, AM I THE ONLY GUY IN THIS THREAD! THIS THING HAS TURNED INTO A CLARK LUST FEST!:D ANYWAY, THE JIMMY GAG HAD ME IN STITCHES, I'M STILL TAKING THEM OFF.;) AS FOR ALICIA, MORE, MORE, MORE!!!:D UH, UHM, I'M SORRY FOR THAT OUTBURST IT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.:D :supes:

MORE, MORE, MORE!!!:p

Alicia taking off Clark's red-k necklace probably saved her life...his penis isn't exactly human...LOL.

BTW, EXCELLENT episodes, and can't wait for the next :D. Its nice to see a change.

Right after that they showed a borderline graphic sex scene between two teenagers. I hardly think they're really setting too much of an example, and it came of as waaay too preachy and cheesy.

LMAO, as soon as I saw chloe jump on after the episode was over adressing the teen sex issue, I laughed my a$$ off.

This episode was so wonderful! I loved how they realistically dealt with teen sex and how the writers dealt with both the Kents' and Clark's feelings over his sudden illegal marriage. I loved how Clark used his powers for frivolty and heated up Alicia's hot chocolate at the skating rink. And I LOVED sexually aggressive Clark! Hell yeah! What a turn on! It was so funny when Alicia said something like "I want this to last" and Clark responded "I don't know if that's one of my abilities but I'll do my best". Man oh man! Love him! Tom's acting in this episode was just wonderful. The scene between Clark and Martha was heartfelt. His crying was completely believable and you could easily see his hurt from disappointing his parents as well as his hurt from wanting companionship so he could feel "free". Bless his heart! This kind of episode really makes me want to see Tom in an adult role (as opposed to teen role) in a feature film. My gosh...he'd kill us all with his sexuality and confidence. Whew!

ROFL! Have to admit.. his "lats" weren't exactly what I thought of when you said "PACKAGE." :D:D:D But um.. yeah, his body is truly a work of art. I can't WAIT for the screen caps on this one.

To bring up the considerably less exciting sex story in this ep.. I thought the Lana/Jason stuff was well done, but risky. They really took Lana and made her the cliche' girlfriend trying to win over a boy by giving him sex. It's a very real issue for a LOT of girls, so I respect the public message-ness of it. On the other hand, it took Lana back a few notches from where I had hoped she'd matured to. I guess she's really not that experienced of a girl though, so it's not entirely unbelievable that she'd find herself in the same situation a lot of girls do. Jason was pretty gallant about the whole thing.. he's such a nice guy.

I admit to being a little sad at the obvious loss of any possible reconciliation of Lana and Clark. :(
(oh stop throwing things, I know I'm in the minority but at least I'm honest.)
Hey I am still for the Clana so let them throw. Don't give up. I thinks something still will happen. But it was too soon. Maybe last season?

That was really a key thing wasn't it? Clark spends most of his life trying to hide his abilities, and yet with Alicia, he not only uses them, but like you said, in a totally frivolous manner. It really reinforced the point of why he likes being with her so much.

And I LOVED sexually aggressive Clark! Hell yeah! What a turn on! It was so funny when Alicia said something like "I want this to last" and Clark responded "I don't know if that's one of my abilities but I'll do my best".

You had to remind me of that didn't you? Oy. ::fanning again:::

We can only hope. ;)

I thought the episode was pretty good but when I saw the preview for next week, man I cannot wait.

Curse Bryan Singer, for overlooking his talent!

Frantik, we are two peas in the same pod!!! I can't explain it, but I soooooo can relate to the same motivation factor.

You know it babe!!! :D

And not fer nuthin', but Alicia took Clark's necklace off too early!
Yes, that is so right. I was thinking, not now girl, wait till you get the goods first. Dammit. Iknow I have no morals here, but hell did you see Clark? Morals go bye bye, out the window.

One thing I don't get is why would his parents be so pissed if he was on Red Kryptonite? I mean they should know by now what that does to him. I know it might get old for them but what can they do they are his parents they are supposed to understand that type of thing.

Well, like they said in the episode "Red", all those thoughts come from somewhere. And somewhere deep down, Clark might have been thinking all this stuff.

Well what kid doesn't have them kind of thoughts? Just about every kid on the planet but most are not algergic to red kryptonite that makes them do crazy things, but they do have beer which can be the same thing.

Don't even worry about it. I am sure something even better will be coming with TW in it. And you know, originally I didn;t want him for supes. Then the manips got to me and I did. But now that he is not, I am thinking that is maybe a good thing. He can go on and do some other stuff, different, and I want to see him different, grown up, sexy man. Remember Rob. That was so good. And now he would be even better. we got lots to lookforward to.

And to keep this on topic, Tom did a great job on this episode. Believable.

I'm having a hard time forming rational thoughts....

I still don't like Alicia.. and yet.. I'm oddly grateful to her. ;)

Favorite single scene - it's a tie b/w the Martha/Clark talk at the end.. and the single tear on Clark's cheek *sniff*... that or - shirtless and horny as HELL Clark sprawled on that couch right before Alicia jumped him.

I am so with you on this.

I loved that Martha/Clark scene... Tom was so good and so was Annette.

My gawd... he totally rocked in that scene.

And the scene in the hotel was so....

All I gotta say is WOW.

Great episode.
