Oh man now they loook pretty gd, they should of kept Jackson looking like that all the way threw the film, looks badass there
The Scarlett Johanson still has a "Sky Captain" film noir vibe that I feel is very adequate for the world of The Spirit.
She's hot, but I'm not feeling it.
Doesn't really feel like the Spirit though. I still question why we are actually seeing the Octopus.
If I remember right Miller said in an interview before production that Jackson would be playing Octopus in this movie, and if theres more spirit flicks the Outopus would have newer actors each time.well, he IS a master of disguise. In Darwyn Cooke's re-telling of the Sand Saref story, The Octopus is in disguise the entire time. The only way you know it's him before it's stated that it's The Octopus is from seeing his gloves. Other than that, he's wearing a false face the entire time. Maybe they'll do something like that in the movie.
Pretty cool stills.
Yeah there just close ups. Would have been better to see whatever cgi set pieces they have. Maybe the spirit jumping across a rooftop. Or fighting some hood in an alley would have been better. Something to set the mood. Close ups are pretty lame. Not much to say about them really.
