IGN's Top 10 Worst Comic Book Movies of the Decade (2000-2009)

like I said, it's not an amazing movie, but I do find it quite enjoyable

SM3: The alien came out of nowhere and just landed on Peter's bike!!

And that's all we get for the origin for the symbiote.

every iteration of Spider-Man (comics or animated series) presented an explanation for the symbiote...the movie couldn't take 10 minutes and come up with something??

its sad is what it is

as for really **** comic book movies, Id put Elektra at the top of the list

Then again, Spider-Man 3 had to juggle about 4 storylines into one, and people already complain that it was too long, add in ten minutes, and just more *****ing

well Sony did the right thing in booting the whole lot of them

Id rather Marvel go to court and try to get the rights back from Sony all together....bring the might of The Mouse to bear

that's fine for you man. when your seeing hulk goblin, I hope your happy

but I do agree, the best thing would be marvel getting the rights back

Please, stop mentioning it. I'm gonna hate that they're using Hulk Goblin. All signals point to them using that.

As much as I loved Spiderman 1 and 2, you are right.

Spiderman 3 was pretty bad, and the news for Spiderman 4 was sounding worse and worse by the day. I wanted to see Raimi to redeem himself, but his ideas (along with Sony's; it was both their fault guys) were sounding terrible.

The problem is I don't really have that much faith in the reboot for now. Not to say I don't think I'm gonna enjoy it or I'm not gonna see it, but rather I don't know what's going on and I have no idea what I'm gonna expect from Marc Webb.

I don't think Ghost Rider's problem is being full of a lot of lame stuff, but that much of the stuff is meh a side from a few things that I would describe as the good stuff. Meph is underused and is a background character, and Blackheart was just average and misused. It needed more action too, good action,Ghost Rider,Eva,and Meph are the best things about the movie. It's better than a lot of terrible comic book movies that are around,I don't need to see what I haven't to be allowed to say X or Y sucked because of blah blah blah blah. If X-Men Origins:Wolverine isn't on that list then it should be.

I really didn't like the list that much, aside from a few of the movies like Catwoman. For the most part, I enjoyed at least some aspects of a lot of those movies.

Also, back in '06, I read their review of X3. They basically said, not the better than the previous X-Men movies, but it definitely deserves its place in the series and was a fitting ending to one of the better comic book trilogies and gave it a 7/10.

Then Wolverine comes out, they say it's better than X3, but give it 5/10 stars. I don't even bother to listen to their reviews anymore. I visit their website to get scoops on upcoming movies, that's about it.

I was flipping through channels and came across Ghost Rider in Spanish. Even though I couldn't understand 50% of it, it was actually more entertaining than the English version. Had it been a low budget foreign film, I probably would have given it higher scores.

Spider-Man 3 should be called Spider-Man 3 & 4, as it literally is that. The only reason it wasn't split into two parts is that no good place for a cliffhnager could be found.

I myself love Spidey 3.
