IGN's Top 10 Worst Comic Book Movies of the Decade (2000-2009)

Where is X-Men Origins: Wolverine in that list..? Terrible, terrible movie.

And PWZ? Please.

Where the heck is Lee's Hulk, Blade Trinity? I admit I enjoyed Lundgren's Punisher to a certain degree. I disagree on LXG. I think it was an entertaining film.

SM3, Daredevil [at least the DC], and X3 should not be on that list..x-men 3 wasn't as good as its predecessors but i wouldn't say it was trash, neither was spiderman 3.I agree the 1st ff was bad while the second was garbage yet it is not on the list, along with superman returns...and another thing, Why does IGN hate Spiderman 3 all of a sudden? They gave the film 4/5 stars.....Spiderman 3 may not be as good as the first two films, but its not honestly that bad.

I agree.

Punisher: War Zone was awesome. Could have used a better script and acting in some places, but it wasn't terrible.

God I hate IGN. 4/5 for Spidey 3, now this?

And yes, Spidey was trying to be JUST like Batman Begins. So obvious. The fact they attempt to say he had eyeliner ruins the credibility.

I agree, X3, SM3 and Daredevil (DC) are waaaay underrated. Granted, X3 and SM3 aren't as good as their previous installments but they have some awesome redeeming moments.

The story in SM3 sucked but man o man, the action in that movie gives Michael Bay wet dreams.

SM3 and DD shouldn't be on there. SR and Blade Trinity are noticeably absent, also.

Good list.

Glad SR is not in there since it's a Good movie. Not bad IGN, not bad.

I'd only scratch X3 off that list and replace it with Wolverine; the rest is quite bad.

Agreed Wolverine should DEFINITELY be there instead of X3.

having SM3 on the top TEN list of superhero movies is absolutely laughable. where's blade 3? where are the hulk movies? FF2? whatever IGN.:whatever:

Spiderman 3 was worse than the Hulk movies. But FF2 deserves its spot there.

the thing about FF2 that I didn't like was..it was an improvement over Fantastic Four 1, but it was progressive in the wrong way. Instead of saying "Hey, let's make write a better script that makes you care about the characters," it goes "Let's add these new characters in and kinda half ass them. Let's make Galatus into a giant cloud."

So the entire movie is supposedly larger in scope, taking place in a dozen 'countries' that either looks like green screen or Canada. There's no depth to the Fantastic Four themselves, as they are going through the motions.

And it's just a frustrating movie. it revels at being mediocre.

DD, Spider-man 3 and X-Men3 shouldn't be on there, I liked Punisher WZ as well, but i can see why they put it on.
I think X3 is better then Wolverine, so even though I still can enjoy WXO for what it was, I'd switch those two.
'From Hell' should most definitely be on there, nothing like the amazing books, and a pretty boring movie even on it's own terms. I'd say it was a worse Moore adaptation than LXG, which at least has one or two scenes I liked, it was pretty boring too.
'Blade Trinity' should definitely be on there.
the only one i haven't seen is 'The Spirit', but I'll take folk's words for it on that one, lol.

Then what was the 'improvement' actually?

On that list, I've only see Ghost Rider, Spider-Man 3 and both the 2004 Punisher and PWZ. There's movies so much worse out there then those four put together it's not funny.

i think the action was amped up, and it was bigger in scope, but that's a double edge sword because at times, it was bigger just to be bigger. Like being Japan, Germany, Hong Kong, whatever; that's all superficial stuff that means nothing in the long run.

I also think the visual effects better besides Mr. fantastic.

I think it was trying to make the second film better than the first but it was just half assed due to Fox's inablity to get the right writers and director, and the right budget.

If fantastic four 1 was a C minus, then Fantastic Four 2 is a C plus. not that big of an improvement.

The Incredibles still win for best 'Fantastic Four' movie.

Ghost Rider sucked because if was very awkward to watch. The humor wasn't funny because it wasn't directed right.

There's very few super hero films I've disliked as much as Ghost Rider.

seriously, i can found the enjoyment in Punisher Warzone and even X3 and know that they're bad but okay to watch on cable tv if nothing's on, but Ghost Rider was just plain bad to me.
