They're great designs, I will admit that. But, we can debunk the Cap one. We don't know about Thor though, that's soooo under wraps.

I know, but my point is, I think we can pretty easily debunk both of them since they're clearly both comic designs. And I think we all know that neither of those costumes are going to copy a comic design exactly. Well, I suppose Thor could, but it's extremely unlikely.

I agree, I've always liked the armored look. I hope they do something to that extent for the film.

Good point. The article mentions how close the company's other Marvel statues matched the final designs, and if you google "Kotobukiya _insert character here_" you find some damn accurate designs. Just saying.

It's all cool except for Cap's head. The helmet looks dumb.

Please stop complaining about the helmet people... go into WW2 with spandex on a see what happens. Then again, maybe they did overdo it a little with the chin and the design on the sides... I stand corrected. But it has to be a military helment and not a Batman type mask.

I don't like the wings painted on the sides. But then again, I'm one of the nutballs that likes the comic wings.

They´re action figure designs, and according to the site they had releases like this before that looked like the movie costumes. They may not be all accurate, but they´re cool. I like that they keep the wings as a design instead of prop wings coming out of his head, and the helmet, the pirate boots still look a bit too comic booky though.

Again as it been stated over in the thor boards these are just statues based off of some of the more current COMIC suits the characters are wearing. Not what is going to be in the movie.

We aren't talking about we regular mortals here, ok? Cap in fact DID go into WW2 with no helmet on and he kicked ass. This is a comic book movie not 'The Hurt Locker'. I don't want hyper-realism...in fact I don't want any realism at all. You guys can accept that a guy can shoot energy beams out of his eyes or turn into a super strong green beast but a guy not wearing a helmet is too much for you to believe?

Come on...
