First look at G.I. Joe's Scarlett.

Whats up with the rasicsm. So what if on film they have a white women dating a black women.

I'm down with that.

As for the Scarlett/Ripcord deal, I dunno. Kind of mixed. Sounds contrived from the outset, but if it's done well then it won't matter much.

Haha, people just immediately don't see her falling for Marlon Wayans, I guess. If she had a thing for Heavy Duty, maybe. But obviously his goofy charm gets her in the end. As in real life, make a chick laugh, and you got a good shot.

Everyone is down on Damon Wayans playing Ripcord, so I ask you all this. Which Wayans brother would you want to play Ripcord?

I rather have none of them play Ripcord. They should of gotten Ice Cube if they was gonna get a black actor. Ice Cube can act atleast.

P.S. but what would of been worst i ask you Marlon Wayans or Nick Cannon?

Well nice points i was just saying you know.

Thats how it is.

Cannon, probably. They both kinda suck, but Cannon is such a *****e on America's Got Talent that I hope his career goes down the tubes.

You watch that show? Man i thought i was the only one. I think the judges are more harsh then Cannon is. But hey he has Mariah Carrey so. But i dobut that relationship will last long not that many hollywood relationships do.

The wizard interview basically spoils the whole Scarlett/Ripcord/Snake Eyes thing.

They basically say Ripcord gets the girl, and Snake Eyes "observes" Ripcord hitting on Scarlett, and Ripcord ultimately earns Snake Eyes respect and blessing to be with Scarlett.

*VOMITS*

maybe there'll be a hidden post-credits scene where snake-eyes beats the hell outta ripchord...and duke...****, the sequel should just be hawk realizing he only needs snake eyes.

Snake Eyes is too chivalrous to kick someone's ass out of jealousy. However when Scarlett realizes that Snake Eyes merely above all else wants her to be happy, but himself weeps in silence, she'll come around.

I puked when I realised the romance between Scarlett, and the not-so-funny guy. Damn.

He's funny ( okay maybe mildly amusing at best!)
when he's in something where hes meant to be. But in this movie hes about as useful and funny as an 8th wheel on a motorcycle.

When I first heard about the Scarlett/Ripcord thing it was totally left field, as was the casting of Marlon Wayans as Rip. I watched more of the cartoon than read the comics so I was prepared for a Duke-Scarlett relationship. I thought Wayans was okay as Ripcord, his jokes weren't all that funny, but he handled the action scenes fairly well. I also found myself liking his pairing with Scarlett.

Watching the film, the Baroness-Duke thing, also left field, made Scarlett having a relationship with Ripcord more feasible/palatable. I knew a little about her having something going on with Snake in the comics, but in the context of the film I can see why she might be attracted to Rip.

He's humorous/charming, brave, supportive, and challenges her a little. He got her out of her comfort zone, he got her over herself. The film didn't do enough to build up a Scarlett/Snake Eyes relationship. Snake was a grim, cold fish, despite his deadly skills. When you put the two side by side, what woman wouldn't have a more fun time with Ripcord than Snake Eyes?

I looked up Rachel's IMDB movie list and suprisingly i forgot she was that sexy ass babysitter in A Amytiville Horror Remake with Ryan Reynolds.

Agreed.
