I was just on IMDB (I know, not the most reliable) and under the actors (Flash) name, it says he's playing flash in sm3... I doubt it's true, but it would be kinda cool to see him back, since comic version had some more time and a slightly bigger story.

That would be cool for him to be in the movie so Pete could kick his arse again

this has been discussed elsewhere, i think...i also think this thread won't last too long...it would be cool to see him...i was thinking a FLASHback with topher at peter's highschool watching the Flash fight would be cool...but who knows

he was in the symbiote episode of the cartoon when peter gets all cocky, but i think they're already putting enough people in this one

I agree, too many characters as it is already. If he was going to be a leading character, we would have known by now. If he's in it, he'll be very minor of a role.

na i think flash will be in sm3,

heres what i see happening, like peter is walking with mj on the side walk and they pass flash at some point, than flash stops pete and mj and says wow mj you look great, mj respons uhh thanks?

than flash is all well if it isnt wimpy peter parker, than he goes off on peter and pete dosnt like this, so with the help of the symbiote nd major attitude change he punches flash in the face. and laughs as they both walk away

peter gets pissed off with the help of the symbiote and punches flash again,

Maybe he'll attend the Spider-Man Day event. I think he was a fan of Spidey's in the cmoic.

That sounds like a great idea.

It'd be nice to see him.

Unless I missed something while there, the only thing that happens at the event is a marching band playing as everyone follows up to the stage. Then either MJ or Bryce makes a speech consisting of 3 questions to which the crowd screams out to all "SPIDERMAN!" I don't remember all the questions except one which I only remember from the corny-ness of it and it was, "Who saves your kids?" Then as the final Spider-Man is shouted Spider-Man himself swings in to the stage and kisses the person saying the questions. A little kid (this was really funny, especially with Riami directing) sais something like, "NOO SPIDERMAN DON'T!!" and he shamfully covers his face and sticks out his tongue. The rest of the ceremony is just a bunch of random speeches which I did not hear and people running around. Unless, again, I missed something.

It'd be cool to see him, bu I wouldn't count on it. SM:1 passed over a lot of what his character was about. Like his being a big fan of Spider-man. The problem their is that Spider-man 1 skipped years later and brought much of the story that was still based in those years and placed them in his college years.

eddie brock is a college student in spidey 3, kinda like the ultimate version.. he hates peter parker, not really spiderman himself. Now flash, would be kool if he a student at the same college as those two.. that way.. peter can kick some serious flash ass after he gets the symbiote.. just like in the 90s cartoon.. or brock can do that.. for that matter.. to show how angry they have turned..

I think he should be in it because he fill be the only one who should be loyal to spider-man as a fan even after he gets his symbiote and know one like spider-man anymore.

Definitely agree with everybody who wants him waving a balloon, cheering with the crowd or somesuch at Spider-Man Day.... that'd be a kickass nod to the comics.

But also, playing off Flash's fanboyism in another way.... part of me likes the idea of Flash being one of the people to jog Peter into realizing what he's becoming, as even a diehard Spider-Man fan like Flash is shocked by the symbiote Spidey's actions. The fact that Flash at first seems like such an unlikely person to play that role in the story is what makes it all the more interesting,

Sure, its a longshot of that idea actually happening.... but ah well, one can hope, eh? :o
