Flea Markets

Anyone ever been to an unclaimed freight store? It is similar to a flea market except it is indoors and most of the items are new, they just must have fallen off a truck or something since the place the originally ordered them refused to take them due to damage to the box or crate.

I go to flea markets every week now, find lots of goodies: old superman stuff, comics that are cheap, once found a box full of Uncanny X-Men(some were in the low 100's) for a 25c each, bought them all :D every now and then I find old Star Wars, Star Trek and Doc Savage stuff cheap and tons more

Flea market(especially the big ones) are great to find cheap superhero related stuff, comics, posters, actions figures, statues, cards, paperbacks

we found an old farfisa organ there in working conditions

Some of the best places to find really old comics cheap. Same with movies and old computers to rip apart. Plus if you live in my area, you get some great Amish furniture and homemade food.

i have never been to one .. i dont think i want to either.

Flea markets are awesome! well, actually some are crappy. But a good flea markets are fun, especailly on warm summer/spring days! Lots of people, fun atmosphere, and great finds too. Just went Sunday for the first time in a while and got an awesome pair of nearly new doc marten wingtips for my girlfriend for $5. I find a lot of records too, and cool action figures and comics and books and sometimes furniture and cheap vintage clothes too. My sister and her dad are antique dealers and find great deals at flea markets and yard sales too. And a lot fo times you end up leaving with something awesome/weird that you weren't even expecting! You just find neat things.

I went to some sale that was in an amish town and it was kind of weird. Especially the dolls, all the hand made dolls they sold had no faces:eek:

I bought an enema bag at the flea market.

Biggest regret of my life.:(

If you have the patience, flea markets can offer you all kinds of stuff. Rare stuff, old stuff. I'd spend a good deal of time browsing through music CDs. Those guys have albums which are hard to find, and they're selling them cheap!

I don't buy clothing articles, though.

i love em. i go every second sunday. i never but clothes, but i buy books and cd's. i actually got a greak necklace from one oneday, everywhere i go peeps always say love the necklace.OMG, it just occured to me i said peeps!!!
