Florida teacher fired for being a wizard

When I read "wizard" and "Florida" in the same sentence I thought maybe it was a KKK reference. At any rate, this substitute teacher ought to be able to conjure up one hell of a lawsuit with this crap.

I was thinking the same thing. This guy might not have to sub anymore if he gets the right lawyer.

I bet *snicker* I bet when a kid failed the class he said *giggle* he said "YOU... SHALL NOT...PASS!"

Right? Haha, cause of the movie? Lord of the Rings? Anyone!
Hmmm...

Spain? I know it's been awhile since you've been a globe-striding world power, but... man you must miss the hell out of those days, right? Well, have we got a deal for you!

We give you back Florida at no charge!

The Bob & Tom radio show used to do a bit entitled Florida or Germany. They would have listeners call in and try to win prizes by guessing which news stories were from Florida, and which were from Germany. The weirder ones tended to be from Florida, but both provided their fair share.

Naw, Florida is just a bunch of and retired New Yorkers and Jewish people...Now, Georgia on the other hand...

Damn wizards...Always making stuff disappear. I think next we need to go after that Criss Angel fella. Not cause I think he's really a magician, just because he sucks :o

whats the big deal ? we should just be happy he wasnt diddling any of children.

It must've been an unforgiveable curse he used.

Considering ppl used to be burned for witchcraft he should consider himself lucky.

Tampa Bay's 10 talked to the assistant superintendent with the Pasco County School District who said it wasn't just the wizardry and that Picular had other performance issues, including "not following lesson plans" and allowing students to play on unapproved computers.

They need to fire every substitute teacher ever if that's the case.

My high school physics teacher did a whole class dressed as the great Molly Ben-Balla, complete with turban and robe. He was teaching us the magic of physics. Here's the cool part though, the whole class paid attention, and we all learned something. Mr. Ted Reichenbach remains, to this day, one of the most wonderful teachers I ever had.

i had a teach like that... least just as fun, she was a junior and senior teacher and very unethical and i'm sure the school board wouldn't approve of her ways, but she was definately the best teacher i've ever had. She told us about her college years on acid and would dance on the lab tables, and quote the red hot chili peppers in the chem class for "give it away, give it away, give it away now..." in terms of doing chemical equations. She was the best.

I'd very much like an update on this story. There's no way in this day and age someone can fire a dude for doing a magic trick and get away with it.
