No, it wouldn't. It would imply that from what I can tell, I doubt that he isn't over it. I already said that it was entirely possible that he isn't, because yes, I can't see into his head. But I still doubt it.

Now this is all pretty semantical but you can't know how often these memories come to him. The unknown alone gives reason to believe he's not completley over it.

No, it doesn't. It gives reason to believe that you don't know for sure. As I said before, it's entirely possible. But I still doubt it.

I suppose next you'll try to convince me that people like Ed Gein or Albert Fish could have been rehabilitated. The statistics you've given are rather low, and I'm still skeptical about them. The difference is that there's quite a few people who have burglarized homes or stolen cars that have gotten their act together and have never committed a crime again. The stats on sex offenders speak for themselves.

No I wont try to convince you of that. They were too far gone beyond the reach of rehabilitation. They were insane. Child molestation is not the result of insanity. Child molestors choose to commit the crime. They are not a victim of genetic defect or insanity, not counting the very rare exceptions of course.

But look at this. You can take a dog that was abused and you can tame it. A dog has more instinct and less free will than a human, so obviously the same can be acheived with a human.

And your missing the most important point, or at least the most important point in the angle I'm taking here. It's not about today or even 5 years from now. I'm talking about the abilities we will have as a society a hundred years from now, that could effect countless generations of would be victims and would be criminals ruining their own lives and the lives of their victims. It would be unfair to future victims if we ignored the potential today.
