Iron Man 2 Footage found folks no joke

Yeah, the first two are great if you like watching a movie made by people that don't know anything about Peter Parker or Spider-Man.

In Raimi I Blame. He's about as in character in the movies as he was in One More Day.

Honestly, I would like to see a leaked version of Iron Man 2 in the style of Wolverine.

Sure Wolverine sucked. But I thought it was really cool to see how scenes were actually filmed with unfinished FX.

Really? That's ****** because the movies crew and actors worked their asses off, people could have just rented the DVD when it came out and watched the behind the scenes ****. Unless you don't care about the film, say a person like me who knew I wasn't going to be seeing XO: W any time soon, legally or illegally just watched it to pass 2 hours up before I had to go do something.

Wow what is wrong with this guy? :hehe: Got out the wrong side of the bed?

And yes Tony did reveal to the world that he was Iron Man. It's pretty big news. You know, it's not everyday a super hero reveals himself.

I wouldn't be surprised if some civilians say something in that scene though. Like "Hey Iron Man! Sign my donut box!"

:hehe: Nice counter. Is he one of those crazy Bat fans then? Probably a bit nervous that IM 2 will beat TDK.

ya, I was kinda thinking that too
that, and what in the head of a super secret organization doing walking around in broad daylight, seating in a donutshop with iron man

my guess would be that Fury already had the whole area closed off,
I didn't see anyone walking around in background or anything

though, another thought I had about that scene, If Tony refused to join the group then what was up with that after credit scene in hulk? with Tony telling general Ross that "We're putting together a team"

I guess Fav's didn't wanna follow the after credit scene in another film.

Or maybe that after credit scene in TIH is set after IM 2?

I think Shield isn't too afraid of being known to the public because eventually in Comicverse they're like the worlds military.

I'm a crazed bat-fan.

I know you're not talking about me.

I'm a bit nervous, but the way IM II is looking so far I'm feeling more and more comfortable with the idea of a new champ.

and BTW,...good job to whoever put that up.

New champ of what? At the BO? Critically? Both? Midnight record?(Now held by HP). 5 day record? Final BO total?

What hurts IM2 is its release date. Had it opened in late June or July when classes were out then it would most definitely contend for midnight record and 5 day record. However opening in May when classes are still in session hurts both those possibilities. Not saying it is impossible but it will be difficult. The final BO total though of TDK will not be threatened at all.

Critically will be interesting. The first Iron Man received rave reviews, will this be able to build upon it? TDK not only received overall rave reviews but recieved nominations by the DGA, WGA and PGA. The other 4 nominees alongside TDK in both the DGA and PGA categories were the directors and the films Slumdog Millionaire, Benjamin Button, Frost/Nixon, and Milk. So essentially the DGA stated Chris Nolan was one of the five best directors and the PGA stated TDK was one of the five best movies of the year.

Will Iron Man 2 be able to pull off a feat like this? Doubtful, not saying it is impossible but it is a very difficult hill to climb. And before anyone calls me some kind of TDK homer, let me point out for the record, that I loved Iron Man and think it is one of the best comic films ever made. I am extremely looking forward to IM2. I just wanted to point out what a comic book film would need to accomplish before it is called "the champ".

i don't know what people are complaining about. batman begins and iron man are the same movie plot wise, but both are great. neither are realistic b/c they are MOVIES. it's entertainment. stop over-analyzing things just so you can argue about it like morons. it's not like any of you made either movie. you guys have no stake in its success.

tdk was awesome. iron man 2 looks like it'll be awesome too. i doubt it'll do tdk numbers, but it's gonna be high up there. why don't we all just enjoy the movies? we should be glad they're even being made.

Because they're both origin stories that end with the hero fighting his mentor?

Because you know, Stane beat the **** out of Stark over ice?

Stane wasn't his mentor, he was his CEO.

Because Howard Stark was killed in from of Tony because Tony was afraid of an opera.

Oh, alright.

How are they the same plot wise?

the hero comes to realize he has a purpose, battles evil only to find out that the real evil is someone he trusted. also there's an unrealistic weapon that is stolen from the rich guy only to be used against him(and the world) in the final battle. the weapons in question being the microwave emitter and the arc reactor chest piece and mark 1 armor.

stane was his mentor. he was also his ceo. a combination of ra's and mr. earle. they are very similar movies. the people who will argue over this are people who don't want anyone to associate the movies.
there's a similar argument where spiderman 2 borrowed plot elements from superman 2. the hero loses his powers to have a normal life.

Nah, it can't be RDJ. Heath was a supporting actor.

Maybe Rourke to go with the whole villain thing.
