The Dark Knight For all of you theater workers...

I think the two-face bootlegged stills were taken from a camera phone, not a camcorder.

Odds are if that was the Dark Knight it wasn't the copy they keep. It's probably for a very early the next day screener. I used to run projection at two theaters in Seattle and we'd get stuff like that the night before, with a lock that most time we wouldn't get the combo for the next day.

Though last year we did get lucky with a Spider-Man III promo print and it had no lock and came early enough in the day for us to have an impromptue employee screening a week before.

As much as I want to see the Dark Knight, I'm happy I don't work at a theater anymore. As now I can actually afford stuff like rent (and Dark Knight tickets).

I work at Subway, plus I get about 6K, every 6 months. So I've been good going to see movies when I want too. Let's just say come July 18th, I'm going to stay in the theatre all day and all night.

I wanted to work at a theater for years, could never get a job there!

I just got out of seeing Get Smart. It's about 1230am where I'm at. When I was leaving the theater my friend and I saw what appeared to be several film canisters sitting outside a door that were either labled True Believer or The Believer from Warner Brothers Studios. I was just wondering is this the code name on the Dark Knight film reels?

I just came back from work and I can assure you that "The Believer" is actually the codename for the prints for GET SMART. The canisters you saw were old prints that were sitting there ready to be picked up by a courier.

False alarm, guys! :D

I doubt it, theres no way they would give anyone the film a week before it comes out. My theatre is getting it the morning of the 18th, since there are no midnight showings.
