For Anyone who works at a theatre (Possible SM3 teaser)

You make no SENSE SHAPE.. Why the hell would we take this to the Supes Forum if we are talking about the Spiderman 3 Trailer?????

It just happens to be playing during a Superman Movie.. But we dont care. We're trying to find out if Spiderman trailer is attatched.

actually, if you read back a few posts, the discussion was quickly turning into a "superman returns sucks/"how would you know?" argument. a clash of supes fans.

i stopped it.

I've never worked in a movie theatre before,, but why dont you guys, since you have the reels already... Just on your off hours WATCH THE DAMN THING AND FIND OUT YOURSELF!?!?!?!??

not that easy. if it did come attached to SR then you'd have to load the reel and play it to find out.. this takes time and what's more.. unless you are the manager of the theatre, your superiors might get mad at you.

If the reel is not attached and comes along with SR you're just as boned because theatres have strict orders not to show these reels until certain dates.. BUT this would be easier than an attached teaser because you could sneak a peek before a superior finds out.

it's not like you can just walk into the theatre on your off hours and be like "hey I am going upstairs and btw theatre 4 can't be used for a bit.. I'm doing tests"

they would either have to do it with manager permission (unlikely unless they too are a fan)

or after hours (late night... but you'd have to make sure you're closing up)

some theatres may have it.. other may not.. but by this coming tuesday, we should all know for sure.

what's today? like thursday? oh god, it's still like twelve-thousand days away, i cant wait that long! :(

This is probably why the "representative" from SR said the teaser thing is a rumor. Some theaters will get it and others won't, so they don't want fans going crazy if it isn't at their theater.

Well ill have to check my theater because I know they have already received the Superman Film.

well i wana keep my job and watching a summer blockbuster before it comes out wich is against almost every policy of my theater im pretty sure were going to get caught. plus every theater is always playing a movie and when the theaters closed we leave the present reels in the theater and dont touch them. ill be seeing superman returns the morning of the 27 which is when my manager will allow it.

i'd love it but i think if it were coming out next week we'd already know about it, we'd have an online countdown and stuff just like we had for 2.

I wished I worked at a movie theatre. I hope somebody finds some info on the SM3 teaser.

Is this true? I didnt see it posted anywhere else so sorry if it has been:

Spidey trailer length is ...

I've had numerous opportunities to see SUPERMAN RETURNS at the many screenings Warner Bros. has offered but I haven't attended a single one yet for a number of reasons. One, it's just one of those films I'm really looking forward to seeing with a regular audience on opening weekend. It's just got that energy that many of these pre-release screenings lack. And two, the SPIDER-MAN 3 trailer. Yeah, I know I can just see it online but is it the same? Nope. See the audience reason above. So far we haven't known much about the teaser other than it will be "in the can" with SUPERMAN RETURNS. Now we can tell you, courtesy of a spy embedded deep within one of our nation's fine theatre chains, that the SPIDER-MAN 3 teaser trailer will run quite long for a teaser. In fact it'll run a full 2:30, which is the traditional length for a full trailer. Certainly sounds like there was some footage filmed exclusively for a trailer, a la the original SPIDER-MAN World Trade Center trailer that was eventually scrapped post-9/11. We've heard that Venom very likely won't make an appearance but will Sandman? Will Spider-Man be sporting his black costume? As the trailer ships to theatres this weekend expect to learn more...

UPDATE - Apparently the original form had a typo and we were provided a new form directly from someone at Sony that confirmed the running time is 1:38, NOT the 2:30 listed below.

Pffft. If I don't see the SM3 teaser on Tuesday night, I'm not gonna go "crazy". I'll be completely sane and rational....

in my complete and utter slaughter of all the audience members around me...

Do you guys need anymore proof than what was stated above, Sony confirmed it again!

dont worry guys
i work at Dunham's Sports

..ill let ya guys know if we get a print..

(we HAVE had a print of Ice Age 2 shipped to us, though.. weird.)

Hey guys, does anyone know how long the Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man teaser trailers were?

spiderman 2's teaser is some where around the 1 min 45 second mark give or take a few

so the link comfirms that sony confirms the teaser.. now all we're waiting for is someone who has

a) seen the reel
b) been tipped by a theatre employee of confirmed reel
c) seen the trailer

getting exciting!

can anyone confirm that AICN is right?

not to say that they're not.. I'm pretty sure that's prolly the teaser.. but it wouldn't hurt to get more clarity before SR
