For AUSTRALIAN Members: What AUSTAR will NOT tell their customers about MYSTAR!

AUSTAR will not tell their customers about the MANY FAULTS that their MYSTAR has.

Quite often when you have recorded a program, you get the following happenings about your recorded.

1. FAILED!!!!! (It just didn't work - No explanation why)

2. Part Recorded!!!!! (No explanation why)

3. The program has started too early and MYSTAR did not pick it up, so YOU MISS THE BEGINNING of the program. Even if you add so many minutes before the program, you still miss out!

4. The program has started too late and MYSTAR did not pick it up, so YOU MISS THE END of the program. Even if you add so many minutes after the program, you still miss out!

5.Sometimes all I get is a BLACK SCREEN!!!! NO PICTURE, NO SOUND!!!! SO AGAIN YOU miss the entire program!!!!

AUSTAR's answer to this!!! " AUSTAR did perform rigorous testing prior to release but like all testing it was in a controlled environment. It is only when it is released and there are several hundred thousand people accessing it rather than the thousands that problems emerge"

Well AUSTAR didn't test enough!!!! Why should their customers be paying for faulty equipment?? Equipment that should NOT have been issued out until it was perfected!!!

Austrailia is an odd place. I assume that this "Mystar" has a pouch of some kind and is highly venomous.
 
Is MYSTAR some sort of DVR system provided by the AUSTAR cable company?

They have the internet in Australia now? Did you have to like... steal someone's gasoline to pay for the use of the computer?

I don't have Austar.

Like most Australians who actually live in the civilised parts, I have Foxtel.

Let me ask you something... as a Tasmanian, when you part your hair...

We don't have to steal any... we got given some when we agreed to put our name down for the US's illegal war... :oldrazz:
