Forever Evil

I really am loving this event. Had to drop Constantine and JLD due to my budget and UGH I feel like I'm missing out on half the damn story. Got Arkham War and Argus issues #1 but dropped them but Rogues has been great

6 months is to long for me. Are they even doing any major fallout in the other books once FE is done? Something like this seems like it should really shake up everyone.

Still makes no sense to me that Wonder Woman's Earth 3 analog is a super powered, evil Lois Lane. And why does everybody keep thinking the hooded man will be Alexander Luthor? The way they keep referring to him he doesn't sound human. He was responsible for Earth 3's Krypton being destroyed and the sydicate supposedly lured him to their Earth so how could they be talking about Alexander? Ooohhh what if its Earth 3's Sinestro??? Now that would be an awesome twist. I just think with the way they keep referring to him he sounds incredibly powerful and non-human. Earth 3 Volthoom maybe? Johns attempt to try and drive home how bad ass his own creation is? Who knows at this point but I am anxious to find out

Ultraman mentioned an alien that had devastated Earth 3. I wonder who that could be.

Doomsday, Braniac, Anti-Monitor or Darkseid would be my guess as most of those big bads haven't been given much page time in the New 52.

The cameo of Doomsday in Superman/Wonderwoman 2 would suggest he might be responsible for Earth 3's annihilation.

Stoked to see Sinestro get in on the action. Deathstroke and Giganta being with Power Ring when he attacks Batman might mean that they'll be joining Luthor's team which would make it pretty damn formidable.

Luthor
Black Manta
B-Zero (Bizarro)
Captain Cold
Black Adam
Sinestro?
Deathstroke?
Giganta?

and... Batman and Catwoman perhaps?

I dropped JLD because this Blight tie-in doesn't interest me in any way. TBH the only books you need to read to get the most out of this event are the ones written by Johns (the main book and Justice League). Everything else is superfluous even though I myself am also reading JLA and Rogues Rebellion as well.

If you were familiar with pre-crisis DC then you'd understand. He wasn't the one responsible for Earth 3 Krypton's death either.

I am aware of his significance in DC's history. My point is that Ultraman specifically states its an alien being. Unless the hooded figure and the alien being responsible for Earth 3's destruction the same person then I dunno. I've also been reading JLA and I agree while it is pretty cool with explaining what is happening to the rest of the league being stuck inside the Firestorm matrix it really has no bearing on the JL or FE titles. When did Johns jump off JLA anyways? I thought that book was his baby right now and was completely surprised to see he wasn't writing it still. Can't recall if he handed it over before this event or not. Blight did seem pretty pointless. Just too many titles involved I don't keep up with much. I was on JLD and Constantine but they weren't really anything special. Although I still do need to read everything pre-Trinity War and after issue 6 or 7, however many were collected in the Vol 1 trade. Anyways, I can't wait to see what's in store for the rest of this story, I've loved it. Grid is kind of annoying me for some reason though.

You might need to do some re-reading. The hooded figure and the being that destroyed Earth 3 are not one and the same. It was just stated that the hooded figure could help them take on the being that destroyed Earth 3 and Ultraman's Krypton.

The Hooded Man is probably whoever that speeh bubble was talking to Stein on Earth 3.

Well I thought it was pretty plain that the Alien that is the scourge of earth 3 is Darkseid. I mean he was the scourge of earth 2 as well.

I would say yes, im very much enjoying it.

I could have swore they said the hooded guy was the being responsible for Earth 3's destruction. Oh well

Same here. Except for the faces of Luthor and Ultraman. They look weird as Hell

Is this event worth following?

Not in the slightest. But the Rogues series is fantastic fun, and you need FE to understand some stuff in that as it crosses over. I'd assume Arkham War and ARGUS do the same crossing over.

I think that is just her name but she is still an Amazon. But I wouldn't have minded if they gave her something closer to Diana since everyone else have their own analogs.

I figure she came to man's world and took the real Lois' identity.

Hopefully whenever we see her origin, that will part will get fleshed out.

really? I love the art.

Finch's style is an acquired taste that I never cared for. Just too damn scratchy. I mean Sinestro's face looked like a mushed eggplant and his anatomy is all over the place. I prefer Ivan Reis over on JL.
