Forever Evil

I almost barfed when I read how easly Batwoman captured Bane. It's almost like if they wanted to promote Batwoman as a high tier character by making her defeat Bane, but all they accomplish was making Bane low tier AGAIN! Luckly "Arkham War" is doing justice to Bane, even though his artwork is poorly done. The only thing I like in the Batwoman comics is their artwork on Bane. I don't know who the artist is.

What puzzled me even more is that they were acknowledging Bane as a major badass through the narration and monologue. But yeah you're right it was done very poorly, obviously it was push Batwoman as Batman's equal or superior but they failed,DC pulled the plug on this story. It was very poorly thought out IMO,at this pont it might as well not even exist.

Having some of his generals on E2 and unleashing Superman on them, I would say he is putting some power on E2. After failing to capture main Earth, he would probably send his Superman and other generals down there this time.

They were stranded though E-2 has made it quite clear.

Superman and the other generals who werent Steppenwolf weren't stranded, they just came back.

Thinking about it now, DC really should've used FE to temporarily set up Batgirl as Oracle and have her help the remaining heroes who are left fight against the CS instead of just ignoring just about majority of the heroes left.

I'm glad they didn't do anything like that. New 52 Batgirl/Barbara Gordon sucks.

So just leave her as is and don't try to develop her? ok.

She already has her own book to be developed in. No need to shoehorn her into stories she wouldn't really fit into.

I'm putting my eggs in the, this is Darkseid basket. It just makes sense to me.

No his evil puppet Superman is trapped on earth 2.

Why do people think its Darkseid? He was already defeated by a rookie Justice League, and the Crime Syndicate does not hold back, so they would likely triumph against Darkseid again.

It's most likely Anti-Monitor.

They didn't defeat him. They pushed him and closed the door.

Earth 2 is a totally different universe, I wonder if people actually read that book or just know about it.

I figured Evil Alfred was implying that he was able to leave his dying world thanks to Darkseid's invasion of Earth Prime (or whatever), not that Darkseid was who killed his world.
Maybe I read that wrong.

As much as I love Darkseid I was kinda hoping his next appearance in the main universe wouldn't be for several more years, giving him a slower build towards his grand return.

Either way, I'm enjoying the series so far.

I don't know. Two years between appearances is pretty good these days.

It's a different universe, but there's only one Darkseid who travels between them.

What I mean is that the Earth 2 Issue # 27 could be a different timeline in a different universe than the timeline in the Forever Evil Ark. I know it's a different universe. So it could very well be the Evil Superman from earth 2.

I think I understand what you're saying but I'm not sure that is how this is gonna work out, plus with darkseid being "defeated" by this world already he seems lik ethe kinda god who holds a grudge and would want to settle the score him self and not send a lacky like another worlds Superman.

I think a three way Superman battle would be cool. Superman vs. Ultraman vs. Superman E2...but that might be a little rushed with only a few issues left in this arc...and is Superman still poisoned?

Yep

I like it. I also like the idea of him teaming up with the Metal Men to help bring down the Crime Syndicate. Epic.

Justice League #28 was fantastic! Hopefully we'll get a Cyborg and the Metal Men ongoing. :woot:

I would TOTALLY buy that. Add some grounded feel to a funny comic. Magnus can't have all the fun!

I actually didn't really like JL 28. I thought that it should've been a different comic. I don't know why we need to waste a whole issue telling an origin story when the ENTIRE PLANET IS BEING DESTROYED! Seems like our focus should still have been on Batmans group, or maybe showing someone trying to escape the Firestorm prison thing. It was interesting just didn't seem to fit into the story as neatly as I think it should've.
