Interesting.
So Heimdall's "Can you not see! You're leading us to Hel!" comment could be foreshadowing Thanos' attack on their ship in IW. The one snag is that Ragnarok mentioned nothing of Hela ruling Hel. She was on Asgard and traveled around the 9 Realms conquering with Odin before she was banished into some dimension that kept her locked up.
Also these ideas come from all the clues being explored. Why did Cate Blanchett had an interview with that specific statue on the background? Marvel doesn't do this sort of mistakes. There was no scene with Hela and that specific statue in Ragnarok. That statue is from Hel as it was said by Heimdal... There's also a suspicious hooded figure that goes by Thor... I think Hela will indeed come back and they will pay off all the small hints left in Ultron.
After seeing that gif again - yup I'm convinced Thor is forced to watch Loki die for real.
Speaking with the Toronto Sun, Downey said his favorite moment of the third Avengers film is one that audiences have already seen in the first trailer. My favorite shot in the movie has already been seen, Downey Jr. revealed. And its when Thor, whos just totally gnarled up, turns and goes, Who the hell are you guys? and you cut to the Guardians [of the Galaxy]. Im like sold.
Downey Jr.s love for this scene is so strong he went on to say that, if the whole third movie was that scene, were fine. Unfortunately for him, Infinity War will not solely revolve around Thors first meeting with the Guardians of the Galaxy but it does boast a scene where Iron Man has a run-in with the Guardians, which appears to be almost as satisfying.

It seems RDJ's favorite scene from IW also features Thor![]()
I'm dying to see if there's a bit of a tussle between he and the Guardians. I mean he's gotta be a bit panicked/disoriented in that moment.
One thing I feel the Russos will really get right is portraying Thor's power set persuasively. Of all the MCU characters, his power level fluctuates wildly from scene-to-scene and I'd hope they've fixed that a bit.
Too bad we won't be able to witness this particular feat, though, given Mjolnir's current state.Thor using his belt of strength against Thanos?
I'll allow it! *Mills Lane voice*

I know he'll have Stormbreaker... but it's just not the same.

I know this is a long shot, but I still can't help but wonder if there's a chance we'll see Megingjord (Thor's belt of strength) considering it was briefly referenced in Spider-Man Homecoming. Interestingly enough, I believe the belt's last comic book appearance was in Thor Vol 2 #25, where Thor took on and defeated none other than Thanos himself.

Thor has summoned a godblast without Mjolnir before, he emitted the blast from his body.
Yeah, I remember you telling me that. I just meant we wouldn't be able to see him use the belt in conjunction w/ Mjolnir, as I'm partial to that particular panel from Alone Against the Celestials. DeFalco's run in general used to give me life back in the day! lol
Interesting. I would have liked Thor to go away and get fully kitted out with things like this to go with his new weapon for such a huge fight. Guess wed have heard something by now if this was likely.
Balder and Tyr.Who is Thor standing with?
