FOX's The Exorcist

I thought the opener was very strong. I'm all excited to keep watching. :)

Finally, pea soup.

I do like how they are getting the priests to the island. Nice to have them deal with a non-possession for once.

Pea soup. I was sure someone would be pleased with that. :p

Me, too. I'm so happy this was renewed. :D

Well, didn't expect that twist. Guess that explains the mask.

And I think Marcus is really missing what God is trying to tell him. I mean, he keeps sending good looking guys his way...

I've wondered about Marcus for a while now. :p

I sensed something was off about [blackout]the youngest girl[/blackout] early on, being very isolated from the others, but her being in some of the scenes with other characters made me question it. I guess I'll have to look back and see if she ever interacted with others or just with Andy.

I didn't catch it until this episode, not until the punk girl came in the house and heard Andy outside and it sounded like he was alone. I'm slow. :p

I guested something was up with her early on. When Andy started playing with her outside I caught on.

I noticed the mirrored dynamic of Mouse and Marcus are the seasoned gritty Exorcist vets while Bennett and Tomas are the idealistic rookie partners.

I can't believe John Cho is 45 years old.

I wouldn't have thought he was that old either, lol.

I didn't know this was going to skip a week. I'm so bummed out. :(

World Series time. A lot of series get screwed.

I don't understand why networks don't move their show's episodes around rather than skipping a week. For example why not air this week's episode of Exorcist on a different night that there isn't a world series game that way the show doesn't have to skip a week? And streaming sites and on-demand services should get the episodes at their regular time regardless of whether there is sporting event. Why should hulu or ondemand not get the new Exorcist episode this week just because some sports event is airing on a tv channel? Why would a streaming service or on-demand skip a week when they allow customers to stream episodes at any time?

Ugh, tv networks need to pull their heads out of their asses and join the rest of us in the 21st century.

I forgot about the World Series. Red Sox aren't in it so I don't pay attention. :(

So which episode this week would skip a week? Because you would have to replace one of the other new episodes we got this week with the ones the World Series pre-empts.

No episode would skip a week. Instead of taking this week off they would play episode 5 in a different time slot and next week would be episode 6 and so on and so forth. There would be no need to replace any episodes from any shows. There are 168 hours in a week. I'm confident they could find some time slot to play this week's episode in.

Nope. Nope. Nuh-uh. Nope. Nope on all of that.

EDIT: That was a great episode. And they brought that damn mask back.

Grace was sufficiently creepy. So glad this is back on. :)

The whole scene with the bee was just, ahhhhhhhhhhh

Better/worse than the centipedes last season.
