FOX's The Exorcist

They've shown a photo of John Cho and his wife a few times so far, has it been Alicia Witt all along?

I think she was possessed and this is whatever had possessed her.

So does anybody think

That Cho will have to be exorcised?

She had that coming, let's be honest. :o

Seriously, though at first I wasn't sure if it was really her or a hallucination.

So the 'fat lady' sang! Was she seriously wounded at the end of Season 1, or did we hear in any way why she was on her deathbed? Wouldn't those guards outside her room and the woman who was treating her be evilly 'compromised'? Mouse should probably have killed them as well, in her campaign of cleansing!

And now it seems mysteries have arisen about Mouse's background, and something dark going on with Marcus!

I am enjoying this season much more than the previous one!

It's definitely been fun. The show hasn't dropped in quality at all. :)

Cancer.

Wow, what an intense episode! I was literally at the edge of my seat towards the end and screamed at my TV when the end credits rolled LOL. The show just keeps getting better.

Holy crap, that last episode.

This is one of the best shows on television and each episode this season has been better than the last.

So was anyone able to figure out what cancer demon meant when she was talking about Marcus and Mouse's connection? I'm not sure what to make of that bit. Was Mouse possessed at some point and Marcus helped her, was he possessed and she helped him, or was someone she loved possessed and Marcus failed to save them? Mouse came unraveled when she heard Marcus's voice.

They left that open, to be explored later in the season I hope.

Loved the younger version of Marcus, he was really rocking the long hair. :)

I'm a little conflicted on how they perceiving how exorcism works in this universe, because I'm getting the impression that it's the person who's possessed that can defeat the demon as opposed to the power of God. If it's just holy water/crosses that hurts the demon but the will power of the host that eventually overrides the demon, then why can't just anybody be an exorcist?

I think it's a combined effort between the Exorcist and the victim. The Exorcist does bring the power of God which boosts the faith of the afflicted. The process is also dangerous to both so you really do need to know you're doing. I've some shows where the training is needed because the demon can allegedly jump to the Exorcist. It's not something simple.

I think it goes back to integration as well.

Finale tonight

So how about that [blackout]Exorcist III[/blackout] shot?

It made me jump.

Sawyer is referring to [blackout]Bennet going after the nurse[/blackout]

Ah, okay. It's been way too long since I've seen the movie, though I do recall liking it.
