Pretty much as I expected. The Angela/Regan reveal was what fully hooked me in, but keeping that story going would be unnecessary, considering how they wrapped things up.

John Cho Joins The Exorcist Season 2 as Regular

According to Fox, Herrera’s Father Ortega and Daniels’ newly collarless Marcus Keane find themselves out of Chicago and on the road, searching out evil. Ultimately, the two men are led to Cho’s Andrew Kim, a former child psychologist who runs a group home for five at-risk foster children on a secluded private island off the coast of Seattle. When one of the children under Andrew’s care is targeted by a powerful force, the two priests head west, setting themselves on a collision course with Hell.

This pleases me.

That also gives a great preview of the plot of the season. Sounds excellent.

Hopefully John Cho has more luck than in Sleepy Hollow.

I can't wait for that dynamic. Dissociative Identity Disorder vs demonic possession will be fun to see.

The new story dynamic for Season 2 sounds interesting and I hope it'll be great/gripping. However, I would definitely like some follow up on the Rance storyline. I know they're out as series regulars and this season will have a new focus, but I'd like for them to keep that plot thread going to a certain extent. I definitely think there is more to tell in terms of the Reagan-centric story.

Deadpool's Brianna Hildebrand Joins Season 2 Cast

Hildebrand will play Verity, one of Kim’s (Cho) foster children. Being close to 18 years old, her time in the house is coming to an end. Her tough exterior makes it seem as if she doesn’t care, when in reality, she would die for her siblings and Andrew.

The Exorcist is featured as one of the candidates for TV Line's Blind Item. On one hand, I could see the season kicking off with [blackout]either Tomas or Marcus getting taken out in a scene like the one in the movie where Karras throws himself down the stairs[/blackout]. On the other, the article seems to suggest a sort of whodunnit. With this show, the list of potential culprits seems pretty short. Guess we'll see.

‘The Exorcist’ Adds Zuleikha Robinson As Season 2 Series Regular

Robinson, who is coming off a series regular role on the ABC/Shondaland costume drama series Still Star-Crossed, will play Mouse, a mysterious figure waging her own private war against the Catholic patriarchy. Mysterious and pragmatic, Mouse takes her duty seriously, but in the end, she’s loyal to only herself. She joins fellow new Exorcist series regular additions John Cho and Brianna Hildebrand.

Love this, loved her since LOST.
