I was not a fan of Anna Torv's, Nimoy impression, sure it was somewhat accurate but it came off so cheesy. If they just played it straight, it would have been more of a, "Oh, what?!" Than a, "The hell?"
...Fringe star John Noble has claimed that the show is likely to be renewed for a fourth season.
Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly previously claimed that the sci-fi drama "could be on the air for many years" if it maintained its current ratings.
Speaking at the Emerald City Comicon, Noble said: "We've not only [maintained our viewership], we've exceeded it."
He added that the series has set a new record for time-shifted viewing, with many fans choosing to watch the show via a DVR.
"Based on those figures, I think we should be fairly safe," suggested the actor. "Unless Kevin breaks his word, and I don't think he will."
The future of Fringe has been in doubt since the show was moved to an unpopular Friday night slot earlier this year.
The series returns to Fox this Friday at 9/8c.
If they cancel it at this point it will be just such a waste. This isn't Heroes now, this show has remained consistently good and is just getting better week to week even with the weird Bell/Olivia thing now. I hope Noble is right cuz a show getting canned this far into the story would really suck
No. I'd much rather see them keep it going as long as they can.
Then give Fox the chance to cancel it with no real ending ?
why isn't Michael Giacchino's music for Fringe as good as Lost? I think LOST was his best scored music for a TV production, but I can't seem to humm any tunes from Fringe
