The series dropped 13 percent from last week.

Fox's Fringe hit a series low in the ratings Friday night.

The sci-fi series was down 13 percent from the previous week, drawing a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic, though Fringe (3.8 million) was also going up against CBS' telecast of the NCAA college basketball tournament.

While Fringe was struggling, lead-in Kitchen Nightmares (3.7 million, 1.5) ticked up. Nightmares tied CBS for the win in the demo at 8 p.m. Fox still placed second on the night with a 1.4.

Basketball over Fringe? Shame on you, "fans". :o

Shut up, you. The voice was the best Goddamn part. :cmad:

I will admit, that I didn't see her as Olivia at all in this entire episode.

Between the turtleneck/labcoat and the voice it's actually pretty good.

But still, that voice just cracks me up so very much.

I just love how pissed off Peter was during the entire episode. Honestly, could you imagine if one day your girlfriend was possessed by the spirit of an old scientist? I'd be raging.

I can think of one way Peter could have got Bell to leave Olivia's body. Well, that is unless Bell is an old perv, lol.

Ok, I'm rewatching and maybe it's because I'm slightly inebriated but good god damn Torv's Nimoy is just ****ing EPIC! Seriously HAHA this was not nearly as great the first time around AT ALL lmao

Plus, am I the only one that realized we got our answer last nite as to who the new "double" was with Agent Lee popping up, bout damn time too. I've always liked this actor since season 2 of Nip/Tuck

I had a feeling after last nights episode that things just got too weird for a casual viewer to follow.

The parallel universes and the shifting from red to normal
maybe all a casual viewer can handle.

But I think the soul switching will cause people to go "This is too weird for me"

If the show is canceled we'll probably point to this episode as a cause

Oh, horse****. Viewership dropped because of ****ing March madness, not because of the episode. Fox should know this.

Honestly, if people think this is too weird, I genuinely dont know what show they've been watching for the past three seasons.

I can't remember the last time someone used the phrase horse****.

I like it! :D

I need to catch up with this episode as I went to the movies on Friday night but I did catch the first 15 minutes. The Bell voice Anna did got annoying pretty fast. Any non regular viewers watching the episode probably thought wtf is wrong with her voice then turned it off

I loved her Nimoy impression. J.J. Abrams should fire Zachary Quinto and cast Anna Torv as Spock in Trek 2 :o.

Well, let's not get crazy here.... Torv's Nimoy is great, but Quinto is like a once in a lifetime casting. He is literally Nimoy's clone.

Really? Who did the literal cloning process? :oldrazz:

They're going to be rich!

JJ Abrams, dummy! Pay attention! :cmad:

Man, I hated this episode. The only good thing about it was the actress from Caprica and seeing Lincoln Lee in our universe.

The "scientific" explanations were so freaking stupid, even for this show, that I couldn't get past it. Secondly, the Bell voice has to be one of the most annoying moments in recent TV history. I wanted it to stop so badly, there is no reason for her to talk in that voice. The reason why Bell spoke the way he did was because that's how his anatomy and environment made generated the voice. When Bell's "soul" was animating Olivia, the voice should have come out like her normal voice. Thirdly, I think this show suffers when the focus isn't on Walter and Peter. We got a little bit of Peter but it was angry Peter for having a girlfriend that does a horrible Leonard Nimoy impression.

I'm glad they are we get (to escape to) the other universe next week. Not only is this side more interesting but it's even better now that it doesn't have a woman doing a horrible raspy Leonard Nimoy impression.

Dude think about it practically though. Bell's consciousness has taken over her, the only voice Bell has ever known is his own so of course his consciousness would impede it's impulse to make it's host body sound the way he remembers sounding in his own body. That's how I like to think of it at least

Also, what happened to the woman was only possible because, as Walter said, our universe is starting to break down, and the laws of physics are now being violated. Which I actually like because Fringe has tried to ground things in some actual scientific theory (very fringe theory, obviously). But now they can explore even the more crazy theories, and push more into the science fiction realm. which Walter and William have even less experience in.
