Spoilers for the titles of the last two episodes this season...
Question: Two weeks in a row with Fringe scoop. Keep the streak alive! —Jeff
Ausiello: OK, we’re now three-for-three, because I happen to have found out the titles of this season’s last two episodes, and at least one of them sounds VERY ominous. (And you know when I do “very” in all caps like that, I mean business.) Let’s start with the penultimate episode (3.21), which is called “The Last Sam Weiss.” I previously reported that Kevin Corrigan would be back as Olivia’s bowling alley counselor/confidant, but what’s intrigued me now is that “last” bit. Before you hit the comments with your theories, grab a seat, take a hit of oxygen, and behold the title of the season finale: “The Day We Died.” Go ahead. Take a moment to process that. [Beat] Moment’s up. It sure sounds to me like we’ll be down one universe if when Fringe returns in the fall, right?

Hmmmmmmm. I surely don't wanna see them destroy the other universe. I don't think that's what will happen

How the hell did I just now notice that Fauxlivia's mother is the actess that played Iris Crowe in Carnivale

I just noticed that in the opening credits for the alt-verse it has the words Singularity and Transhumanism in the first part. That be really cool to see them delve into some

Fringeception looks epic!

They best make Seth Gabel a regular next season.

I also love that Taxi Driver was directed by Coppola in the alt-verse.

Would've been a great opportunity to re-use the villain from the "Super fast growing baby" episode in season 1.

I just noticed the same thing too

They could either clone the baby from the blood sample and mature it to adulthood. It would not surprise me if the son worked with our Fringe team

yea Lincoln has to be a regular

honestly, he's the character/actor I hate the most on the show. I thought he (the actor) was much more tolerable in the primary universe. Yet still weak. I was truely hoping he would die after he got BBQ'd, but we weren't so lucky.

IMO, he's the weakest link in the cast.

actually was wondering if the baby can power up that weapon

I think Alt-Olivia would've said yes to the procedure if asked by Walternate. So the kidnapping in last episode was kinda off to me. I mean Walternate's plan was to save the baby and also Alt-Liv and get a blood sample...so the method used was too melodramatic don't you think? :)

I think the thinking was something like if they just asked Alt-Olivia to the procedure & it worked it would be public knowledge that they cured & saved her & her baby from that thing she had & what not & the fact that they can now save pregnant women & their babies from what Alt-Olivia had means it can be kept secret & that it was against her will

The whole point of the procedure was to take the child from her. No one knew that she had VPE until after she was kidnapped, so I don't think the plan was to save the baby or Bolivia. Remember, the doctors didn't care about her weak vitals and were going to continue the procedure anyways with Phase II. IMO, his plan was to take the baby and raise him for himself and to possibly use him to power the "machine", without anyone knowing it was he who planned it. Asking Bolivia to under go the procedure willingly, would not be in his best interest.

I wonder what Phase II would have entailed? Maybe aging the baby even more?
