He might become one if our side survives and the AU doesn't. I think he would make a great recurring character next year.

I saw episodes 3, 4, and 5 today. This whole John Scott thing is interesting. I guess he's in her consciousness? Is all of season 1 a FOTW thing? When does the AU storyline kick in? I've been hearing good things about it so I'm kind of excited to see it.

There's lingering threads and clues throughout the first season, but yeah, it's mainly episodic and FOTW. There are a few episodes though that lay the AU stuff on a little thicker. Especially toward the end.

The AU stuff starts at episode one. The 'amber' on the bus plays a big role in how the AU survives.

But it doesn't really have a "**** starts hitting the fan" moment till the the last few episodes of season 1.

Yeah, the last few episodes of season one turned the show from a "cool show" to "must see show live" for me.

Also, have you been looking for the Observer (bald guy in the suit) in each episode? He has been in the background of everyone. It's a pretty cool Easter egg.

I had no idea about that. I'll start looking for him in each episode from now on.

What..... the **** just happened?!

At first I thought that was the Transamerica building in the alternate universe. It took me a few times to get that it's the single World Trade Center building.

Freedom Tower, or One World Trade Center. Whatever you want to call it.

At first I thought
Peter had been transported to the rumored 3rd universe...but time travel?! :D

When they showed the the drawing of Olivia, did anyone else flashback to the drawing in Alias?

Everything till the very end screamed worst finale of all the seasons.
The end somewhat made up for it...but then of course just like Sarah Conner C, this might not come back and it will be remembered with a bad taste.

First, this wasn't the season finale.

Second, it's already been given a fourth season.

Terrific surprise ending!!

As soon as I saw Peter's hairline I knew what had happened! :yay:

Not sure WHY the machine would do that, though.

The Observer, um observing.

i.... erm.... WHAT?????

I wish Sam would have explained more about what the Machine is actually meant for. He said it wasn't a "Doomsday Machine", but what is it's purpose then? Maybe we will get a better explanation next episode.

So I guess Peter was sent to the future to see the trouble that the actions of both universes have caused. Two machines were never supposed to be on at the same time, so it needs to course correct before both are universes are destroyed (Walternate said in the previews that they destroyed his already). Whatever happens, it should be a great finale!

I just love that, over the course of a decade, our universe has basically become the alternate universe.

Pretty much. It looked jacked up. I wonder if they are throwing us for a loop and Peter actually went to a 3rd universe?

The only thing I thought was wtf was Peter regaining his memories just at the right time. But I guess that is typical Sci-Fi
