Full House Revival in the Works

Nothing against Full House, but Liz Olsen is better than that and good for her and her agent saying no.

And the reason Stamos has aged well is due to the Dannon Oikos he eats.

Netflix Rebooting One Day at a Time

WTF? Who is asking for this? I mean, I am skeptical that there is a big desire for a Full House reboot (especially considering its most popular character isn't included)...but I can at least understand it. 90s nostalgia is big right now. Girl Meets World is a success. Why shouldn't Netflix cash in on the craze of reviving bad shows from hipsters' childhood that they pretend to like out of some misguided notion that it is trendy to be nostalgic? But ONE DAY AT A TIME!? Is there any nostalgic desire for that show? Do people even know what it is?

and this comes a week after Pat Harrington died.

And Norman Lear is still producing shows?

Now that the progressive millenials and NPR crowd have pretty much all decided yay or nay on Netflix, they need to cater to the family crowd now to build interest in that. Just a regular show about a Cuban single mother gets zero buzz, but a retro name attached to it automatically guarantees attention.

Fuller House is not a reboot, you badly joker. It's a sequel series.

I actually still think Boy Meets World was pretty good. I think it holds up much better than Full House for me. I'm more curious about Fuller House than genuinely excited like I was for Girl Meets World. Maybe I'm just clouded by my need to be trendy though :o

One Day at a Time was a pretty good show, though, like a lot of Lear's shows. He produced a lot of gold back in the day.

Family Matters reboot on Netflix

The Winslows have moved out and Urkel still lives next door but this time to a white family

Step by step reboot- I got nothing. Some of the cast are either in jail or stopped acting

Make that white family that of Paula Deen or Donald Sterling and you've got yourself a hit.

If I didn't know any better, I'd think this is more of a Gilmore Girls kind of show than a standard multicam sitcom.

I always had a crush on Candace as we are both about the same age, but I have to say Jodie looks pretty damn good :hrt:

HD doesn't do 'sets' any benefit...

Friends, Full House, SNL, etc. all looked decent in 4:3 and in film.

Now, (especially Dumb & Dumber 2) these shows looks so hollow and fake.

Well this certainly looks as terrible as I was expecting it to.

I'll probably just check out the first and last episodes.

This looks horrific. And what brave soul knocked up Kimmy Gibbler?

I hate catchphrase-y sitcoms so much, this legitimately made my skin crawl.

Like, they're calling their nearly 30 year old sister in the middle of the night. WHY are they using the catchphrase she used when she was, like, three? Why? WHY???

Michelle- This is why I moved to the other side of the U.S. to get away from you people!

I'll give this a look, but Girl Meets World this is not.

What's next? Netflix announcing a reboot of the Addams Family TV series?
