Yes, I'm digging up the can of worms known as Gabreil Stacy. Which alias do you prefer him to have? The Grey Goblin or American Son? For those of you who didnt read the A.S. mini, he was the one wearing the armor and has developed a split personality between Gabriel and American Son.
And no, "death" or "non existence" isnt an option. Nice try.
Yes, Grey Goblin is just a cheap Green Golbin rip off, but American Son is just a cheap Iron Man rip off. Let's keep our villains related to our heroes. Using the American Son alias just brings us back to the god awful A.S. story. Plus Grey Goblin just looks cooler.
I really hate armored, battle suited characters. American Son will be an awfully dated name in a few years, tied to the political statement that Marvel was making at the time, whereas the Goblins have been around for decades.
