Sigh why does Sean Bean pick characters that always die

.
I think this episode highlighted the fact that this is very definitely a TV show working with a limited budget. Aside from the cut battle scene, the throne room at the Twins looked lot less impressive than the other throne rooms seen; betraying the fact that it's probably not going to be a set they will be using often. This is especially weird since the Freys have monopoly of the bridge connecting the north and south and regularly charge others to cross it - which should mean lots of coin.
P.S.: Lord Walder Frey must be Tyrion's idol. That's one guy who's well on his way to die 'in his own bed, at the age of 80, with a belly full of wine and a girl's mouth around his cock'. That is one seriously dirty old man.

For a tv show your not going to get better production values . I am sorry but are we thisd spoiled that we are expecting it to have a 300 million dollar budget ? Not enough time or money to do that .
I was kinda disappointed that they skipped the whole lannister/starks battle. We didnt even get to see how they captured Jaime. That was such a blatant "we didnt have the budget nor time to show you this" moment.
Gods, but the last scene was brilliant. Having already expected it, I was gripped nonetheless. Sansa's smugness and subsequent desperation, Arya's disbelief at the people below as they clamored for Ned's head and her savior sent by her father as his last act, and even Cersei's reaction to Joffrey's decision, which I wasn't expecting, were all brilliantly done.
And did anyone pick up in the scene between Dany and Mirri Maz Durr [BLACKOUT]on the rather blatant foreshadowing with the witch glancing briefly at Dany's pregnant belly during that "Only death pays for life" exchange?[/BLACKOUT] Can't wait to see the outcome of that next week.
Actually... that is almost exactly how they did it in the book... From Caitlyn Starks POV during the battle... I was more upset that they didn't show Tyron in Battle... because in the book, he fought a knight and bested him on the field of battle.
My friend told me his girl might not watch Game of Thrones anymore after last night's episode. She kept crying during the last scene with Ned, kept saying "It's not right."
It's a tough scene. It wass almost like I was re-living what I felt when I read it in the book.![]()
