Okay... So this "movement" both exhausted my patience but was slightly fascinating in that it was a miasma of cultural issues that I think bore fruit here in the "Trump Years". Some of the perspectives even online tactics of debating etc. (and truly vile personal attacks that were essentially criminal in nature) that were prevalent in the 2016 campaign were sort of beta tested here. Sure there has always been online acrimony but I would guess this is a first time that something busted out of its cultural niche to become something that started creeping towards a broader political and cultural aspect.
So... After all this time does anyone have some insight into this ludicrous phenomenon? Did anyone that felt aligned with the Gamergate movement now feel chagrined about the whole affair? Does anyone know how active this movement still is?

PS Browsing through the thread... Man was the OP a strange and obsessed person. But... I think his general attitude was telling and does fit into the current climate among many Americans well. There is just an inchoate sense of resentment all over OP's posts.
