I hate the Wii altogether. I think it's a gimmick machine forcing developers to stay in the last generation.

The only thing it's forcing developers to do is make the Wii games more different. Unfortunately they don't put enough effort in.

All that means is that it's very possible to make a perfectly fine game for the system, developers just don't want to take the time to do so. The Wii is capable of it, it's not the Wii or Nintendo's fault that developers use it for shovelware.

Though they would sell a lot if they did.

Halo.

I mean, the gameplay is solid, but there's nothing all that revolutionary about it. And the story isn't anything great either. It's so vague and cliche at some points I almost feel that the writers are afraid to write anything imaginative because "OMG ITS TEH HAL000ZZ!!"

I feel the same for Gears of War.

But the multiplayer for both of these games are very very good. It's a redeeming quality. But the fact that it gets perfect scores on so many game sites make me sick.

Final Fantasy is just....stupid. Seriously. How many are there? like 34? And Which chicks are the guys? And why does everyone carry a 19 foot sword? And have soft and bouncy hair? It NEVER appealed to me.

GTA got old for me for a little bit. I felt it was stale about halfway through Vice City. GTA 4 on the other hand is actually a great game. Again, doesn't deserve the perfect scores it gets, but it's still fantastic.

Although it was hyped up like no other, Assassin's Creed pretty much got what it deserved IMO.

A game series that I thought deserved the scores it got was the God of War games. They were EPIC. I loved them.

But I tend to enjoy the "decent" games that are released throughout the year. I still love the Punisher game that came out a few years back lol. And the most underrated game IMO is Max Payne 2. One of my favorite games of all time.

I don't like the Wii, but don't underestimate the fun that can be had from it. When you get back from the pub with a few pals it's a right laugh playing it when you're pissed up. Especially the Wii fit board thingy.

But Wii Fit isn't a game is it? It doesn't interest 90% of hard core gamers out there who like their Gears of Wars and their Halos. Regardless of quality, it encourages people to make this crappy party games.

The only "game" that everyone likes, and i don´t, it´s MMORPGs.

I haven´t played a lot, that´s a given, but i played the mother of them all, WoW.
It´s great for 1 month, it´s addictive, it´s everything that people say it is, but after a while i get to ask the question, why the f*** am i playing this?
When it comes to games, i´m a loner, and proud of it.
When i want interaction with a fellow human being, i go to a place called, the real world.
I play games like i watch movies, for the story, for the characters, for the urgency of it all, and MMORPGs just don´t have it.

Halo is at the top of my list, it's not anywhere near as innovative as people say. Wasn't impressed with the gameplay, controls, story, pretty much everything in the game.

Hardcore gamers like more than Gears of War and Halo.

Whether or not it encourages developers to make party games is irrelevant. The problem is developers are making crap games. Nintendo isn't saying "Make crappy games for Wii".
