I have to admit, I thought it would be more all fanboys, but that said, he does have a HELL of a lot of great points. Nintendo fanboys are probably worse than sony and microsoft overall....

I disagree. Nintendo fans are just bad now because they're excited that Nintendo is making a comeback this generation. It's like when sports team wins a championship after a long time. All the fans are excited about. MS and Sony fans are just spitting venom now because Nintendo is becoming big again.

Krazy Ken said the PS3 could run at 120 fps, which is true for like anything if you scale it enough.... I mean it was stilla s tupid thing to say, no arguement there. Sony never said Toy Story graphics, that was a journalist making asumptions. The closest any company came to ever making Toy Story graphics claims is Microsoft with that bad platforming game? Not Blinx, the other one. They said "With _____ you're seeing games on the Xbox approach the level of detail seen in Toy Story, in realtime".

And Nintendo is the worst offender when they said that the N64 would be able to produce visuals on par with the quality seen in the dinausours in Jurassic Park. No one has ever topped that one, though it is seldom remembered.

SEE, THAT'S A FANBOY COMMENT IN ITSELF. MOST OF THE NEGATIVITY TOWARD 'NINTENDO', COMES FROM THEIR HISTORY OF TRIAL-AND-ERROR WITH "GIMMICKS". OVERALL, THEY'RE AN EXTREMELY CAPABLE AND SUCCESSFUL COMPANY.......BUT THEY TAKE ALOT OF RISKS ON "NICHE" CONCEPTS. 'MS' AND 'SONY' ARE MORE MAINSTREAM, AND THUS LESS ALIENATING.

Nintendo won't be number one again. I promise you...it's not their goal anyway, so why do you care?

Like the article says, nintedo doesn't want or need the hardcore fanboy, its aiming for everyone.

You all try to make out ninty as some cute and cuddly entity who loves everyone, well that article makes it known how badly they tried to screw over developers and multiple system gaming.

I am interested in wii. I love my 360. Im not so hot on ps3 but I love my psp. So I have nothing to be venomous about. But expecting nintendo to be number one is , more or less, laughable. That and also assuming that the controls will work as predicted. Im not quite convinced its more than a gimmick, but I will give it a try because it seems interesting. Im somewhere between being intrigued and not being convinced just yet, but I'm not writing it off. However, if you think it's going to be able to hold a stick next to sony or ms' big consoles, you gotta be kidding. Its basically gamecube with a gimmick pad, and if it doesnt come out right, it could be, liek the atical says, the potential equivilant of releasing ps3 as 'a ps2 with an eyetoy.'


Plus, you can't disagree if you didn't read the full article which you said before.
