The danger is less split tickets, but people only voting for one of the candidates. Which is what happened a lot in the general election.

Still, I am hopeful for Warnock. He is a much stronger candidate.

I hadn’t considered that. It’s still hard to imagine a lot of that happening though. I expect the the votes for each candidate on each side to be really close. We shall see.

Last minute prediction. I think Mitch is going to keep control of the senate. Biden winning probably has Republican voters realizing that if they lose in Georgia Dems will control Congress and the White House. The fraud delusion also has Republican voters stirred up. Whereas Dems are apathetic at the best of times and think they've already won the white house so who cares about the rest.

In short, another 2 years of gridlock.

Loeffler and Perdue have all the advantages. Historically Republican-leaning state and incumbency advantage. And so far their numbers aren't great, especially in some nearly fully counted Republican counties coming under Trump's losing 2020 number.

It's not about wanting to win. It's about know how to win. I "think" things look relatively positive. the weighting from the last election makes things look bad for the repubs.
