Get to Know your Comic Artists and Writers

We should start making captions for some of these pictures.

And by "we" you mean "Jake, who is leagues more talented and humorous than I, PhotoJones, am or ever will be, as is the general opinion of my hypester peers."

And no I will not lower myself to the level of captioning pictures. Ugh, ugh, ugh. Multiple people trying to associate a hypothetical quote or humorous explanation of the same picture, it's like taking turns on some skeevy nympho chick.

Yeah, too bad you're Not Jake. :o

Too bad you couldn't think up a better retort.:csad:

There is no better retort then the one I lay down. Always.

When you get to my level, you can spell it however you want.

Rob Liefeld - artist of X-Force

Chris Claremont - writer of Uncanny X-Men

And here's two men who should leave comics, and try a different profession... :cmad:

Norm Breyfogle

Sorry but I am affraid that I am not able to see it, maybe I will after a while. maybe my computer is just acting up or something.

I looked him up though, great artist.
thanks for posting him.

Funny. I always pictured Rob Liefeld as having sunken cheeks, an angry look, puckering lips (even when he's sneering), four fingers on each hand, a pencil-thin waist, arms bigger than his head, and a contorted pose that no human being should be able to make. It'd certainly explain his messed-up view of human anatomy.

I also pictured Humberto Ramos with hair that remains completely stiff whilst half a mile away from his head.

I've gotta question my actions though, when it comes to meeting these people.

I'd probably give Ellis much love, same goes for the Romitas. But, if Liefield walked up to me...I wouldn't know what to do :(

Two of my favorites:

Tony Moore (left) and Jason Aaron (right)

Aaron definitely looks like he's plotting the death of the person the both of them are listening to.

And another of Moore, all Lobo-ed out for Halloween:

I wish Tony Moore continued with The Walking Dead :(
Don't get me wrong, Adlard is good...but, Moore is better.

I wish Moore was a faster artist so he could stay on a book longer then 4-5 issues at a time.

I prefer Adlard now, actually. His art is more visceral than Moore's, and nothing demands visceral art like a zombie story.

True. And I prefer Moore's work to be black and white with ink washes rather then colored. Unless, of course, he's doing his own coloring. In which case it rules.

Ron Garney (Amazing Spider-Man, Hulk, Captain America)

Wow, Becky Cloonan's the hottest professional comic book creator I've ever seen.

Anyone have any pictures of Amanda Conner? She's the only other female comic creator I can think of besides Gail Simone, Rachel Dodson, Devin Grayson, and Becky Cloonan, all of whom I've already seen.
