I tend to like certain writer's runs on books or individual graphic novels than the writer's work as a whole, since I can't name any who haven't disappointed me at one time or another.

I tend to like most of Dan Slott's and Mark Waid's work. Greg Rucka also tends to put out stuff that I enjoy.
