Comics Getting back into the comics...need help

Im going to a comic store soon. I want to start reading the comics again but its so many now. I think im interested in Ultimate X-men and going back to the beginning of Uncanny X-men. Do comic stores stil carry #1 issues of ultimate and uncanny? or do i have to get them online?

start with astonishing, #13 start of a new arc, great art, and great writer, plus it's the best team roster.

otherwise, you should prolly start uncanny when the new creative team takes over, i think that's next month with #475. but i doubt you'll be able to find all 475 issues of Uncanny, and even if you did, that would set you back a bucketload of cash.
just try to get some graphic novels cheaper and easier to find.

^^So those are CD versions of the comics? Thats sweet. I honestly would love to read comics online. Maybe this would be a start to get back into comics. I've been gone for close to 10 years.

I'm thinking of getting that DVD-ROM.

I would suggest that you buy the graphic novels of Ultimate X-Men to catch up with it easier.

I also recommend getting Astonishing X-Men and X-Factor.
