World X-Men Help

Hey, Im new to this site (and forums and comics too) and need some help. I am a hopeful screenwriter and am interested in writing an X-Men Screenplay over the summer. I go to Northwestern and want to bring a new script with me when I go back to school. Basically I want to write an X-Men movie that comic lovers will love. Ive seen all the X-Men movies, even First Class, and while some were good (First Class and X1 and somewhat X2), none of them satisfied me in the way I know an X-Men movie can. So, I figured I would ask the experts, the people who know the comics and lineage the best to help me figure out what story, and most importantly what mutants you want to see. My favorite part of the X-Men comics is all the cool and crazy mutants, which ones would you guys want to see the most? Any help or recommendations you guys could give me would be awesome and much appreciated. Ive only read a couple of comics and I was going for an orgins story maybe, but if there is a better story out there Im more than open to it. Thats about it. Thanks for the help.
