Getting from bed to hanging upside down in new threads...

More or less, that is probably what's going to happen since thats pretty much what the script summary said. There probably won't be any hallucination.
thats what i think, befor the theatrical trailer came out, we thought it could have been a hullucination, but, it really wasnt, in the trailer captain stacy says, "we have some new information, this is your uncles actual killer, we lost his trail two days ago", peter wasnt dreaming that scene, the set pictures of marko grabbing uncle ben must be a flashback or a dream, mark being uncle bens killer is real, thats for sure.

why? peter is obssesed that sandman killed hes uncle. he just dreams how it happened. this would not show that eh is not the killer.
im talking about him dreaming that sandman killed uncle ben as in dreaming the scene where captain stacey says flint marko is responsible

no it really couldn't work. If the symbiote were to conjure up this "dream" at all, it would be a HUGE twist to the movie. You couldn't go from symbiote covering up spider-man's eye to him in the police station talking to stacy. The audience would be like WTF?

The only way they could pull that off and be "twisty" would be if a third of the movie was a dream, which sounds very unspider-man ish. A dream where he finds himself w/ the suit, walks around does his good/evil thing finds out about sandman, only to "wake up" and then fight sandman.

I really don't think so.
well it doesn't have to be the police station scene.

that part could be true but the dream could actually be visions of parker seeing sandy do it, so his memory of the events of that night then become twisted and polluted.

so it would be real life events that influence the manner in which the symbiote wishes to take control. It sees a weakpoint in peter and exploits it.

so it doesn't have to be a police station dream, but another one of sorts. maybe an inaccurate flashback to the night his uncle was killed.

again you're making assumptions and trying to fit the scenes of the trailer in there but i dont see anything from that trailer that would be viable to fit in between.

Well what does the symbiote have against Sandman? Why would it want to make Peter believe that Sandman was the real killer, if some other guy was still at large anyway? Sorry but your theory makes no sense dude.

The way I see it making sense is that the sybiote is trying to completely take over Peter, but he is fighting it because there is always good in him, and in the end it wins. But the sybiote always seemed to kind of feed off of fears, hate and aggression in the brain, so maybe it does not nececarly MAKE Peter see Marko as his uncles killer, but it puts emphesis on it, bringing out the hate in Peter that was always there. The Symbiote just maybe puts it into perspective.

The sandman is only a tool in order to get to feed off its host's anger.

have you read ultimate spidey, the same thing happens there. An ordinary robber of a store is mistaken for uncle ben's killer by spidey and he goes nuts on him.

it manipulates peter and makes sandman a focal point of his anger, one that can be exploited.

heck for all i know it could also be telling peter that MJ and Harry are secretly seeing each other behind his back.

it's happened in alternate timelines in the comics and also the cartoons, it's not an alien concept.

peter cant control his attitude change or what he does with the symbiote on, it make peter alot more angry, what i think is that once peter gets the symbiote, he unleashes the anger thats inside him on sandman.

Although i hope this doen't happen, it would be a good if after Harry has failed to kill Pete, he set up the whole thing. Mark running into the Particle Manip chamber and Paying off Captain Stacey by Threatening to hurt his daughter or something (As the GG)

Again i hope this doesn't happen...Just healthy Specualation

this would not make sense to me.

Will the symbiote mimick spider-man's mask? When it covers his face, parker is maskless. I know it's been on here before, just wondering for myself.

personally, i see something like this being a little easier for the audience to swallow, and it would keep mj from looking like a ****. i mean, do we really want peter to 'cheat' and mj to as well, because then the audience would just wonder why they are even together at all....

But don't you think that'd be a cop-out? Sort of like, "Waah, the evil alien was totally at fault!" I'd rather see some genuine darkness - even a little bit - within Parker amplified by the Symbiote but not actually created by it. I like my heroes with a bit of darkness in them, ie Bats and Spidey.
