I just had this explosion of thought in my brain when I was watching a spider crawl across my room and up on the ceiling. Wow this would be really really really cool.

Remember how we zoomed out of spidey's eye glass in the teaser and the whole city was turned upside down and then twisted around back upright to show us spidey is really hanging upside down?

yeah well imagine that, but that's how the movie starts. Everything's upside down and people in the theater will be confused and think that the projector is broken! this'll be fun. And I think it'd be unique. I've never seen this done before in any movie.

Then of course we turn back upright once it's shown we're seeing the world through spider-man's eyes.

what do you guys think of that idea? cool huh?

when a projector breaks why would it flip itself upside down?? if the audience think that than frankly they are idiots, especially after the credits had rolled normally

how about, and heres a more plausiable suggestion, that before the movie begins, text appears on the screen saying, 'Stand On Your Heads Now!'

i think that scene from the trailer is when peter wakes up with the symbiote on. like he's sleeping with the red & blue suit and then BAM, the symbiote attaches to him. I believe thats pretty hard that they use the same effect on the beggining of the movie. That would take the surprise of the scene.

pretty cool idea:).

I LOVE THIS IDEA

and another sweet idea i made is making the movie horror like in some scenes, with the symbiote and venom and all. Sam is a fantastic director and i dont love him for spider-man as much as i do his horror films. Hes a fantastic horror film maker, and i really hope spider-man 3 scares the **** out of the dumb little 8 year olds who watch it. I want to be scared too. Sam, if your reading this, scare grown men half to death please!!!!!!!!!

i thought of the same thing but i didnt think to start a thread.

my idea was urs but after spidey is upside down he lets go of the building and we see the city threw his eyes and hes diving down coming closer and closer to the ground than bam!!! blank screen and soft music starts and than that opening monolog peter usualy starts, zooming out of his eye we see peter parker strolling down the street finishing his monolog.

and yea that was my idea

Well I was just thinking it'd be a visual metaphor about how peter's life becomes turned upside down when the symbiote attaches to him. And yes indeed i suppose that's what's being said in that scene with the same situation I described in my first post... This would be an expansion of that is all and i think it would be fun to sort of freak people out and make them think they have to watch the entire movie that way... lol:oldrazz:

Darn, I wish I could talk to raimi.

The movie should start at a 92 degree angle and then spin a 360 lol, omfg!

thats what some people loved about the opening batman 89 scene back in the day. It started out like "what the hell is that?" and it kept zomming through and edventually zoomed out and it was the batman emblem.

The same sort of feeling went through when the teaser for sm3 was going through for the first time, at the end when it zoomed out of his eye, then flipped upside down only to see peter realizing what hes become.

Hmm. It's okay. Are you talking about Peter just walking through the street and the camera is upside down when he is walking normal? If so, I wouldn't like that. But if he is fighting or talking in the beginning, in his Spidey outfit, I wouldn't mind it, but only for a couple of seconds.

^Yea, the movie shouldn't be upside down for very long...I really hate shakey camera angles and werid things like upside down angles.
