And another word falls victim to both the trend of corrupting language needlessly (if there's ever a needed corruption of language), and the trend of, for whatever the **** reason, ending words with "i."

Har har. Respect your language. Language will be extremely important in bringing about an age of understanding and respect. We cannot live in harmony without effective communication. Onlinespeak, the last 75 years of poetry, rampantly poor spelling, and dictionaries giving into to "alternate spellings and definitions" all derail communication.

Slang, by the way, keeps language active, alive, and relevant.

Oh, ha. See, he's answering my serious chastisement, no, really, this is funny, see, he's answering my serious chastisement, with a funny funny example of the behavior I'm chastising. God, I'm just, I'm just busting a blood vein laughing. It's so original. How hilarious it is to try and get at a guy by just doing what he doesn't like, EVEN MORE! How mature! How adult! How completely not childish! Jeez, you're hilarious!

No. Language is important. Eroding language is eroding one of the last bastions of hope for a unifying cultural structure, and for harmony with the rest of the world. It's gotten to the point where foreigners speak our language better than we do. That's not how you build a global dialogue.

Yes, but this is a message board on the internet. A place where rules mean nothing and old men pretend to be hip/cool teenage girls.

I'm 19, still live with my parents, and like recreational pool-basketball. I'm 5'10", weigh 130, play the piano, sing, write, eat, sleep, and go to college. I like wearing slacks, Converse shoes, and Hawaiian shirts. I'm known for my overly large grin. I'm enthusiastic, I do impersonations, and in my spare time I hunt down people's lost stuffed animals. For a price, of course. I drive a dilapidated old car with a cracked windshield, I eat chili out of the can, and I like squeezing into packed elevators and screaming "MONKEY!" to see how fast they will empty.

Just like Ace Venture:cwink:

I'm not much into Hardcore Rock, Rap, or gospel, but I still love all music. I can usually find one thing I like about any song. I listen to it and try to figure out what they're playing with and what's playing what part. (did that make sense?) Any rock music suggestions? I'd love to see if I'd like it.
and no offense but,

I hate everything boy band and pop

Why would I take offense? All my friends like rap and hip hop and all that jazz, but know it's not for me, Just like some of my music isn't for them. We're all kool.
