Ghost Rider Cancelled at Hulu; Is he coming to the MCU?

So Agent Carter, Inhumans and all the Netflix shows are dead, New Warriors and Ghost Rider have been scrapped and AoS is ending. That leaves Runaways, Cloak and Dagger and supposedly Helstrom. At this point I honestly wouldn't mind if they'd just give Runaways and C&D a final season to wrap things up and cancelled Helstrom to expand into a unified Marvel Studios with its own shows.
A lot can happen from now to 2020.

I wouldn't be surprised if the only live action Marvel shows active by 2021 are the ones produced by Marvel Studios. Anyway 3 seasons doesn't seem too bad for Cloak & Dagger & Runaways, thats equal to the individual seasons of Daredevil & Jessica Jones, an equal to the number of seasons that Iron Fist, Punisher and Luke Cage were regular cast members. Helstrom could be 1 and done, and I don't think anyone would care.

I'd be quite happy for it to be none and done!

Two words people: Daniel Ketch. Lets have the actual iconic Ghost Rider be Ghost Rider for once.

Me too. Though i can't see Hulu canceling both Ghost Rider and Helstrom withboth of them not having to air a single episode.

I'm hoping its gonna be like this:
December 2019: Runaways' final season
February 2020: Cloak & Dagger's final season
April 2020: Helstrom's one and done season
May 2020: Aos' final season
September 2020: The start of Disney+ MCU shows era

I'm Latino and prefer to see Johnny Blaze on screen and have Jensen Ackles play him (Supernatural is ending) and eventually have Danny and Robbie come along.

But her character is an alien or other worldly being. Her character is not Latina.

Salma hayek character is ajak in the mcu and could still be latina.
She could have adopted hispanic/latino culture later and still be latina in the mcu.
Miss America Chavez is an alien originally but became latina later as well.
Quake's mother in the mcu is inhuman and chinese in culture.
By way the eternals are originally from earth.
The Eternals first came into being about a million years ago when the First Host of Celestials arrived on Earth to perform genetic experiments on the nascent human race. To test the adaptability of the human gene, the Celestials accelerated the evolution of a handful of subjects and gave them the genetic potential to mentally manipulate limited quantities of cosmic energy, as well as other superhuman traits. Thus the Celestials created the race of Eternals, an evolutionary offshoot of humanity. The Celestials also performed similar experiments on subjects that led to the creation of the Deviants, another offshoot of humanity.
This reminds me of the inhumans but the eternals on average are more powerful.

The character ajak is from earth in the comics.
Ajak (Earth-616).

Salma hayek in real life by the way is half latina and half arab.

Here is more talk about what could be happening with the eternals in the mcu.

So use another white character and not give the ethnic actor who has already been playing the character on TV a gig?

Yeah?

I want to see Danny Ketch and Johnny Blaze. I want to see the flaming motorcycle, the studded gloves and vest, and all the other goodies that were wasted on Nick Cage with his dreadful movies.

I dont mind Reyes eventually showing up, but as someone said, its Ghost Rider not Ghost Driver.

And if you wanna cast a Latino actor as Blaze or Ketch then go for it, I just think Ackels portrayal of Dean in Supernatural wouldnt be that much of a stretch for Johnny.

Yeah, there's nothing specific about Daniel Ketch's ethnicity. He can be anything you or your casting director wants.

Just cast a Latino actor to play Johnny Blaze. Who gives a damn? Blaze is a fictional character and can whatever they want him to be. I’m Latino myself and honestly don’t care what race or ethnicity any character is as long as the costume looks like the comic book. Flaming skull, motorcycle, spikes, and a chain. I’d love to see Dr.Strange have to go toe to toe with Zarathos. Now that would be an amazing story!!

It sounds like you give a damn by posting about it.

We're just replying to this cause the whole representation argument came up.

We're saying that Blaze or Ketch can be played by a Hispanic cause nothing about their origin says they have to be white. If Gabriel Luna is recast as Johnny that would be cool.

Which is fine but saying "who gives a damn?" is not it. Obviously people care or else it wouldn't be talked about.

As for Gabriel Luna reprising his role but as a different GR. I say no that as he already appeared in Aos.

Well, it wouldn't be cool, but that is because using Johnny Blaze again when Daniel Ketch is *right there* would be a mistake, not because there's anything wrong with Gabriel Luna. *cough*

I'm all for Ghost Rider joining an Avengers (or Dark Avengers?) team. As soon as the mystical elements of the MCU truly take off, it'll happen. @Punisher_MAX 's suggestion of Jenson Ackles portraying Blaze works for me. Would be a solid casting.

I mean when you think about it if ghost rider moves over to the mcu proper, then we'll have the midnight sons. Dr. Strange, Blade, Moonknight and Ghost rider. Plenty of potential there.

If they really want to ditch the bike and go full Ghost Driver, they could give him a family cruiser with room for a baby seat.
