Ghost Rider IS Being Screened

This isn't the first time the POST has printed something false...

We made a difference guys. Check out the wording of the second article...what a weasel. LOL That's probably that Breadly character's site. LOL:

heh...yeah we sure do.:woot:
Good Job AD and FH for sending the word out to those..."sites". many of them have had it in for the film and are hoping this movie will flop...they will just post anything negative just for the sake that its against the film.
thankfully this bit of gossip was shot down early ....

Nice work folks. We surely are wonderful ambassadors to this film, if I do say so myself. I am ashamed to say that Dose.ca is Canadian though. Frigger.

somebody go over to themovieblog.com and set them straight, they're not ones for research and I can't seem to be able to post any comments

I only find that these guys get pissed when it's the people other than them selves don't get to see it 1st and have to wait.

"Critics" take assaults on their free rides personally. They hold grudges and they lash out at projects and studios who dare cross them. That's why I ignore most alleged critics. There's always politics and hidden agendas involved. I respect Ebert, Roeper and very few others. These little Internet wannabes are a joke. Even the print media just feature frustrated film buffs who couldn't score better jobs. Look at the peons that make up Rotten Tomatoes sampling. It's a joke and so are they. Let them rant and lash out with their poison pens. They're small time and no one is paying attention for a reason.

good reviews from IMDB....hopefully they've actually seen the film

You guys rock. We've been so pissed off at these sites who are too lazy to check out the facts, and instead just carry the words of a bitter New York Post blogger. I love that you guys have contacted them on your own. As I've said before, if someone hates the movie, they can go ahead and tear it apart. But it's blatantly WRONG to attack a film they have never seen. Many sites have retracted their comments now that they know they were false. Many people like to see these comic book movies fail. But the truth is -- we're not going to. We're going to open big and that pisses people off. Thank you all for your continued support and for counteracting the b.s. with the truth!

Like you have your own private army here, Mark

which doesn't say much for our lives:confused:

Mark, a lot of us are just as attached to this movie as you are (well almost) and get equally pissed over crap like this. People have wanted to hate this movie forever and now that they actually see a good product coming, they're runnin' scared... so I believe anyway.

Either way, we're faithful that it'll be strong. Sleeper Hit. No doubts.

Hey Mark you know about any advanced screenings here in Columbus Ohio?

sadly im used to hearing/reading negative news about GR in general over the years. all kinds of s$%&...so it doenst surprise me at all these sites will have a field day w/ fake news.
thats a blessing/curse of the internet...you can get news as fast as its typed out only it might not be true.

No matter what movie there is always going to be negativity you just have to learn to expect it. Especially with these comic book films...nitpickers galore.

true...but i was talking about hearing just bad comments about the character for what...20+ years?
anyway this is nothing different...people who dont get the character trashed the comic book....and now the same type of people are trashing the movie. same old same old....
but youre right ...you just have to learn to expect it. learned that many many years ago

The beauty/curse of the internet is that it gave birth to more opinions... or at least an avenue to express them. There's nothing wrong with negative opinions. Not everything will be perfect for everyone. It's impossible. The key though, is to respect the vision presented... and remove yourself from your own preconceived vision.

Oh, and it's important to actually watch the film before making an opinion. I think it helps to understand that...

I wasn't really part of any groups that bashed GR in my day. Most of my comic readin' friends were all fans. It's only the internet folk who've I've had to deal with, in regards to trash talk. Of course, I always felt like an outsider here for the longest time... being the only Ketch fan.

For the movie though, since the very beginning, there has been this negative buzz... outside of here. Why? I have no idea.

such a novel concept...to actually SEE it 1st and then criticize it. heh
someone needs to remind the owners of those sites...

the internet has more pluses than negatives though...afterall i wouldnt have been able to talk to other GR fans, get news and meet the people who were/are behind creating the character. its a good trade off i think :yay:

No problem for me at all...I said something to every site that copied the NY Post article. It's funny how some of the sites claimed to call Sony for a comment in the beginning but had no luck so...they posted the story anyways. My sister in law is no comic book movie fan whatsoever but she knows I'm all into it. She saw the Messengers last night and saw the trailer for GR. She came up to me this afternoon at work and was telling me how great it looked. That surprised me. Honestly everyone I know who's seen the trailer has been very impressed with the visuals and the one liners are perfect.
