I was just wondering, what level is his power? (and Vengence? what happened to him, btw?)

For example, I remember Vengence duking it out with Hulk, so he must have been very strong and durable physically, but I have always seen Ghost Rider as more Punisher/DD level rather than say Sentry or Hulk, but I have never been into the character too deeply. I am getting interested due to the movie which looks really good.

No one knows what happened to Vengeance after he helped Ghost Rider against Blackheart, so it's unknown.

As to Ghost Rider (Blaze) strength, he has supernatural strength in the 5 Ton range acoording to the Directory.

Thanks man. But I should have made myself more clear...I was wondering if he could say go to toe with higher level characters like Hulk or something, and if something like the penance stare would work on characters like say hulk or thor?

I had this cool idea (or i thought so) that if he ever gives the punisher the penance stare, it would have no effect

Why wouldn't it work? It doesn't make you guilty over the bad stuff you've done, it makes you re-live the pain of your vitims as they experienced it.

Oh I thought it was guilt. NM then.

Higher level? Well Spider-Man or Iron Man would be considered higher level, but you're talking ELITE strength guys when you say Hulk. In terms of Strength, he'd have his ass handed to him. But we all know battle takes in all factors, so with his bike, Hellfire, Pennace Stare, and ingenuity, he'd make it an interesting battle, especially considering all the victims and pain Hulk's got in his closet. In the end? He'd still lose 9 out 10 times, but that's going outside his range. At large, not counting the way up there guys (Thor, Hulk, Surfer, Strange, ect) he stands a damn good chance of winning.

As to Punisher? He'd absolutely decimate Frank, who's got enough guilt and pain for the Pennace Stare to break him down. Add to that there's nothing in Frank's arsenal that could harm Blaze and it's a wrap.

No doubt the Rider would win, but they've fought before, and Frank never goes down that easy... ever. :unishr:

I don't know much about 'im really. But the trailer to the movie gave me a geekasm.

Heh, that's because they have to sell and they have to keep Frank alive. Look at it on paper and the feats of both and it's no contest.:o

Dude Ghost Rider is my favorite character around, i got his ass inked on my arm for cripes sake, i know all about him and their feats. Like i said, i have no doubt he would win due to what hes capable of, BUT i hardly believe that what their scale is on paper is any indication on how a fight will turn out. Anything can happen in a fight. If Frank has a reason to take Blaze down, he will do it.

1.) Calm the hell down.

2.) 'If Frank had a reason to beat Blaze, he will do it'....BWAAHAHAHAHAHA! That has to be the single most idiotic statement I've ever seen put to paper...errrr, type, ranking right up there with that 'prep time' crap and 'Thor wins cuz he's a god, duh'.:o

You just discredited your argument and lost face in one fell swoop. Nice job.

I would've gone for his flaming skull (it's more recognizable), but I guess we all have our own tastes.:o

If the writers want Frank to pull a victory out of his ass, I agree with you completely. They could give him those weird ray guns some chicks used in the Dan Ketch era (the HEART-something was the neame of the merc chicks). Or if they really want to go into the "WTF?" realm they could always have JB's old hellfire shooting shotgun to do him in. Of course, that's giving all the advantages to Punisher and writing GR as an idiot. Otherwise, Frank has no chance if he stays in character.

I was going to get a tatoo of Darth's ass on my arm but the guy said there wasn't enough room.

Why isn't this in the Ghsot Rider section?

Regardless, Ghost Rider has stood toe to toe with the best and most powerful. He is a juggernaut who cannot be stopped in his quest for Vengeance. Frank Castle, for example, wouldn't stand a chance against him and he knows it.

Ghost Rider (the 2nd version anyway, Dan Ketch days) was capable of bringing down Galactus with his pennance stare so, he pretty much can bring down anyone and to think other wise is just silly.

Because we don't have a Ghsot Rider section?:p:D

Damn from one extreme to another. I won't waste my time correcting the huge crack in this post by going through and listing the people he has no chance in Hell or anywhere else against, but be careful with statements like 'He can take down anyone and to think otherwise is silly'.

You're bound to get burned.:O

I don't mind being burned especially when I speak the truth.

Ghost Rider is the Spirit of Vengeance. There has alwasy been one and there always will be one. This is a living entity of vengeance who cannot be stopped, plain and simple. If somebody hurts or kills and innocent person then, their ass is his.

Look, there aren't too many who are more powerful than Galactus and Noble Kale, Ghost Rider, the Spirit of Vengeance took that bugger down.

Unless it's Galactus with a Cosmic sized JB shotgun?

Yes, he's the embodiment of the Spirit of Vengeance, the vessel however can and has been beaten/destroyed. For God's sake, Ketch was killed by friggin' Blade! So I'd suggest you keep that nonsense to yourself. 'Cannot be stopped'. Laughable.

You obviously don't know much about the character. Dan Ketch and Ghost Rider are two completely different beings. Ghost Rider, the one inhabited by Dan was Noble Kale. Zarathos (NOT a Ghost Rider) was the demon hosted by Blaze.

Blade didn't kill Dan. Blackout did but, Ghost Rider didn't die and in fact couldn't change back to Dan because Dan would have been lost forever.
