I wonder when "Ghost Riders in the sky" plays during the film.

BTW, I found the perfect song ofr the Johnny Blaze/Roxanne Simpson situation in GR..."Love Will Tear Us Apart Again"...from the Donnie Darko soundtrack. (EXCELLENT soundtrack BTW, the best I've ever heard) I forget who it is by, but it's a great song overall, and perfect for the Johnny/Roxie situation.

Finally, I got the DD soundtrack back on my computer and it's called "Love Will Tear Us Apart" by Joy Division. Really great song.

If the movie is as good as the soundtrack, I'm betting it will be better.

The critics might really love it.

It sounds like a perfect mix between super hero, western, and gothic. So, if the movie really lives up to the "gothic western superhero flick" I think 'originality' alone is going to turn many critics onto it.

Just a music by itself (no words) I would've liked to have heard "Los" by Rammstein played during a scene in GR...it certainly fits the "western" type theme.

I really want a second soundtrack, featuring songs that will certainlly appear on the movie. But "Crazy Train" and "Ghost Riders in the sky"?
Seem kind of old...
Come on, music, as everything, has evolve.
Disturbed, Rammstein, Devil Driver, Slipknot, Rob Zombie ( probably the best person in the whole world, of course after my mom and MSJ )...
I always dream to hear songs like that on a GR soundtrack.
And i have to share something with ya: i really love The Dixie Chicks.
Really.
I have all their albums, all wonderful.
I was really worried about all the anti-Bush thing, and the reaction of the american people. But it seems all right, once they rocked the Grammy Awards! The Chicks rule!
Here, between us: with all this Western vibe on GR movie, why not a Dixie Chicks ballad telling the love story of JB & Rocky?
Even the most perfect and dark movie ever made yet, THE CROW, has a ballad on the soundtrack ( It can´t rains all the time by Jane Siberry... beautiful song..., great soundtrack ).
Just a thought.

Yeah the score is pretty good. I'd call it a mixture of suphero action, western and horror music. Pretty cool. Track 1 and Track 15 are the coolest.

Also Penance Stare seems very intriguing...from the short clip available on the net... damn if only the score arrived now i could at least hear some GR atmosphere, then i could withstand the fact i have to wait a month for the movie here..... damn air shipping lateness!!
