Because that's the score by Christopher Young.

JOHNNY CASH - GOD'S GONNA CUT YOU DOWN

You can run on for a long time
Run on for a long time
Run on for a long time
Sooner or later God'll cut you down
Sooner or later God'll cut you down

Go tell that long tongue liar
Go and tell that midnight rider
Tell the rambler,
The gambler,
The back biter
Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down
Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down

Well my goodness gracious let me tell you the news
My head's been wet with the midnight dew
I've been down on bended knee talkin' to the man from Galilee
He spoke to me in the voice so sweet
I thought I heard the shuffle of the angel's feet
He called my name and my heart stood still
When he said, "John go do My will!"

Go tell that long tongue liar
Go and tell that midnight rider
Tell the rambler,
The gambler,
The back biter
Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down
Tell 'em that God's gonna cut 'em down

You can run on for a long time
Run on for a long time
Run on for a long time
Sooner or later God'll cut you down
Sooner or later God'll cut you down

Well you may throw your rock and hide your hand
Workin' in the dark against your fellow man
But as sure as God made black and white
What's done in the dark will be brought to the light

You can run on for a long time
Run on for a long time
Run on for a long time
Sooner or later God'll cut you down
Sooner or later God'll cut you down

Go tell that long tongue liar
Go and tell that midnight rider
Tell the rambler,
The gambler,
The back biter
Tell 'em that God's gonna cut you down
Tell 'em that God's gonna cut you down
Tell 'em that God's gonna cut you down

The Spidebait cover was named like this in the end credits (Ghost) Riders In the Sky. Also I remember seeing another song by Spiderbait but can't remember its name. Then there was a song named Satan's Penis. No kidding, I swear. Watch the credits. But I can't remember the artist.

Tattaraa, before I posted this I did a little googling and found this:

13. ZZ Top's "Tush" is heard during the film, but, according to the end credits, a less familiar anatomy-inspired recording also plays during the movie, by an artist named JK. The song: "Satan's Penis."

Greetings gang,
Like many of you, I fell in love with the Spiderbait version of the Ghost Riders in the Sky. After scouring the Internet for an MP3 version (or any version for that matter) to download, I contacted a couple people involved in the management of Spiderbait via their home people inquiring where I could pick up the song, whether it was available on the Internet for purchase or what have you. Here's the email I received (as well as numerous other people based on the address header) from Richard Bishop, one of their management/promotion team:

Dear All,
Thanks for all your emails raving about the Spiderbait track.
Unfortunately at the current time there is no plan for Sony to release the
track, although there has been discussion about there being a 'tribute' CD
in the DVD package when that gets released.
Spiderbait's last studio album is available in stores, and the 'best of' can
be found on Amazon.com.
I have kept a list of all your email addresses and if Sony does decide to
release the track, or put it up on The Ghostrider website, I will let you
know.
Please don't respond to this email as I have no more information and my
email box has been jammed with your enquiries !
Thanks
Richard

You may want to email him as well... who knows, given enough response from fans like us, may light a fire under Sony's ass to get this song out to the public. Richard's email is [email protected]. Good luck!

There's a link in the Ghost Riders In The Sky -thread where you can download the Spidebait cover.

Is that an actual list of the songs from the movie?

If it is I'd like some help finding a few:

3. Bad to the bone (which version, by who only one I know)

7. Rob Zombie: More human than human (origonal or a remix)

10. Lifeless eyes (can't seem to find this)

12. Lordi: Hard rock hell (Can't find that is it one of these? found Rock The Hell Outta You & Hard Rock Hallelujah)

18. Ill Nino: when it hurts (can't find it)

20. Live: Forever (can't find it)

Well that's cool to know if I can't find it. I have a few places to get it from I need to check.
Actually Walmart does have it on-line too.

It's almost a month Amazon shipped mine and still no sight of it...=_=

I think maybe you should call them or something IV. It's been alittle to long at least see if you can track it.

Ok finally the Soundtrack has arrived! At last! Beautiful package, even though i hoped there was the lyrics of the latin lines of the last parto of "The West was built on legends", well i'll ask them to the author... i figured a "sanguis" in there, they should be interesting..
