I can't see how riding the Hell Cycle could me MAJOR fun if it's not a free roam. I mean, I'm sure it'll be cool and all, but I was hoping freedom with the Hell Cycle.

I think they should start making a free roaming Ghost Rider game VERY soon. I've thought about it ever since the Spider-Man 2 game. It would be so freakin' sweet to have a free roaming Ghost Rider game. Amazing graphics, total freedom on the ways you can beat up criminals (blood too) and riding your HellCycle in the streets really fast but being in control and riding up the sides of buildings! Getting chased by the police! That would be great!!!!!

I got myself all excited for the not-gonna'-happen.

Apparently you DO ride at least up one skyscraper like in the movie, for it is the "gate" to hell in the game, but i doubt is free roam... I too hope you can use the bike outside thoose "tracks", in the "god of war" like levels, maybe as short speed boost, or only to do big jumps, or better remote control the bike like Capt America shield in Marvel Ultimate Alliance: that would be fabulous! Just imagine: you someway fill the "bike bar" or some kind of system to abilitate it use, then GR calls/creates the bike then it's to you how to use it: drive over enemies or get out and control it to do long range damage, heck there could be some awesome combos, with the bike assist to rebounce back to you the enemies...

It'll suck if you can't ride around kicking ass, jumping over bridges etc. Spider-Man 2 and Grand Theft Auto were so great largely because of their openness.

Well think of it this way, I'm sure riding the Hellcycle in the game we are getting will be cool. BUT being GhostRider himself will be BADASS!!! Asskicking ACTION!!!t:

i hope the bike levels are like road rash for sega genisis. that would fit perfectly for ghost rider.

A good take on the HellCyle in the GR game, would be to do it like EA did the Batmobile levels in the Batman Begins game.

I do know its still coming out on the Xbox...which from the sound of things 2007 will be the last year for Xbox games. Xbox 360 i assumed was a given...read some info awhile back that it WAS going be available on that system.
could Sony have scrapped its Xbox plans? that would be mighty stupid of them right now....they are going to report a huge loss this year because of the PS3 alone...not even counting the battery fiasco they had a while back.

Okay, the game comes out in about less than two months. We've only gotten about 15 screens or so. No videos or trailers.

Shouldn't we have some videos of the game by now? And why hasn't this forum got a Spoiler forum yet?

I have wondered the same thing, about the game. I figure this, we didn't start getting much on the Superman Returns game till October. SO I bet we'll start getting more on the GR game aroud January. It's still to early to advertise it, IMO.
