never could get into that whole SF vs Marvel since they chose to leave out old ghostie...glad to know someone w/ game building skillz felt the same way

Here is the wiki for M.U.G.E.N. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.U.G.E.N) including links to open sources for the program, and well as many links where you can find character designs, codes, levels, etc.

If I understood this programming better I'd get into it myself.

MM, did you notice if the site allows users to download the character codes for Ghost Rider or is it just for the site only?

The first three are respectively level 1, level 2 and level 3 supermove...named Demonic Stallion. I hope they do a penance stare super...
Here are the some of the basic moves.

some of those moves are just too cool....especially where GR continually beats the living s$%t outta venom...heh. that dragging by the chain bit was a nice touch

i tell ya...this just pisses me off more that Marvel never put GR in any coin op games. was always reduced to some sucky cameo walk on role in some cheep 16 bit game system. arrghh...

IGN at times can be a bit slow with their news. Especially with what's going on in comic books, etc.

I'm sure we'll get something soon. Any word if Cage is the one voicing?

Well, in the '90 there was a rumour of a 2d beat em up in development with GR 2099 as selectable character, not by capcom though, and the game was interrupted also.

What steps did you go through to create the .gif from the YouTube footage?

First, I'd assume that you downloaded the .FLV file which was on YouTube. Did you convert the .flv to a .avi and then load it into a program like ImageReady to create the animation as a gif format?

I just found the link to the gif in the marvel vs DC project site forum, in the topic where they show GR progress... i think they first made the gif(to present gr basic moves in the forum), then someone converted it in youtube format....
