Ghost Rider Trivia Thread!

When Ghost Rider came into the 70's?
Before that, (leave it alone you regular GR posters. Let me have my moment of glory here) Ghost Rider was a cowboy figure

And y'all know who I'm talkin about

Close but no cigar! It was issue number 3 from the 70's series. You will notice issue 1 2 the bike had no flames & on issue 3 they decided his bike needed an overhaul thus adding the hellfire to it. Now since you bring up the Cowboy Ghost Rider ( the Dick Ayers classic ) I ask you this. What company published the first Ghost Rider series ( cowboy GR )? & what was the inspiration for his character? :yellow:

AHOY TO ALL!
THE WGR WAS BORN IN 1949 AND PUBLISHED BY ME-MAGAZINE ENTERPRISES AT TIM HOLT # 11, ART BY DICK AYERS, WRITTEN BY RAY KRANK.
THE INSPIRATION CAME FROM WASHINGTON IRVING´S HEADLESS HORSEMAN.
BEST WISHES.
AND THE FLAME BURNS FOREVER...:ghost:

I seem to have a vague memory of something like that but I can't find it

It's a good question. I'm curious to know the answer.
Well, since no one answered, it was Suicide. In the last Zodiac arc number he "rode" (although being henched fits better) on the Hellcycle to find GR and Zodiak, who were battling on a bridge.

damn, I don't remember that. Sounds interesting though, I'll have to reread that issue.

OK, somebody ask another question.

I think we're still waiting on this one actually...

Woha, my first comics trivia reply ever is correct!^^
So, hummm.... let me see... Which character, apart from GRII, rode first alone on the bike?

Wait... yes it was. Ooops.

What about this one?

Here's a simple one. When did Ghost Riders bike first sport the hellfire?:ghost:

I think it was already answered.

Oh. Okay, well I'll ask another one... perhaps an easy one.

Who wanted vengeance of his own after loosing most of his face due to trying to bite Ghost Rider 2?

Actually a give you credit for that but you are a bit off. I double checked & it was Vaughn Monroes "Ghost Riders In The Sky" & the Disney movie "The Headless Horseman"

Here is one for the elders because I doubt the younger GR fans will get it ( no insult to the youger crowd intended ) What was the first app. of the western Ghost Rider ever?

Dont' forget about my fairly easy question folks...

Uhhh, that's really too easy FH! I'll pass for now, maybe if no one answer...:)

I know it's easy... too easy. Was wonderin' why nobody answered it yet actually.

Is it Blackout?

I'm not completly certain on this but wasn't it the first issue of his 6 issue series that he first appeared? That's my guess anyway.

Good try but it was A-1 comics #27 in 1950. It pre dated the Dick Ayers ME Ghost Rider series.

Aweseme. You learn somethin' new everyday. You should have let others guess though... but now that you've told us the answer, we have no questions on the table. Do you have another for us?

This one is really easy. What was the last issue of GR in Marvel Spotlight?:yellow:

I will come up with a good one soon.

#22

Another easy one perhaps; What was the name of the reporter who worked mainly on Ghost Rider's story during his reign in the 90's?

Did I get that last question right?

Anyone got an answer for my question?

Not an official trivia question, but something I would like to know. What happened to Suicide after he and GR did away with Zodiak? I've never seen him since in the comics published here (I never even knew he acquired the name Suicide somewhere along the line). He seemed like an interesting character.
